The testing didn’t start out great…the bag tore diagonally when I tried to make a slit, for steam, spilling rice everywhere. Despite this, I was able to cook it as instructed and it was super quick and easy to prepare, making it perfect for busy days or when you need a fast meal. My toddler loved it, and I appreciated the ability to pack away leftovers for future meals. That being said, the taste was a bit off and I couldn’t tell if I was absorbing the taste of the packaging (YUCK) or something else but it wasn’t noticeable if a sauce was poured onto the rice and was only noticeable when eating the rice by itself. I do think the portion size is great though and like I said earlier, very convenient. So if you just need a quick grain to cook with your saucey meal, this is a great pick.

My only complaint is the timing was off for me. I followed package instructions and the rice was not done, but I had already dumped half the bag so that was a bummer.

I ended up adding a lot of seasonings to make it taste better. While this rice is super convenient with the packaging and cooking methods, it does lack in flavor. I would definitely buy this product again just for the ease, but would probably try a different flavor next time.

It cooks quickly with no fuss and makes more than enough to use as a side dish. Once cooked, it fluffs up nicely. We tried the basmati and though we prefer to have it seasoned, flavor was good out of the package so I simply added spice as we like. It’s a solid pantry staple for quick meal nights.

The flavor is good, there is a little salty in the rice which make them easy to eat than plain rice. Serving is enough whole day meals for 2 people. I’m not really a big fan of microwave rice bags so I warmed it on the pan. I texture is soft and fluffy. I added bacon pieces and veggies and the flavors go well together. It has a option to microwave the bag or cook it on the pan. I highly recommend.

They are done so quickly and ready to pop on a plate. The serving size is enough for two people. I’m not normally a huge fan of microwave rice, but this one has good flavor and doesn’t taste plastic-y. Would purchase in the future for convenience!

I bought ready ride long grain &wild with herbs. The store didn’t have the box mix I usually use for a recipe that is a favorite. It turned out awful. Threw it out. So disappointed. I will have to search further for the original box mix.
