Q: What exactly is a self storing footrest? Does the chair only recline at top or can you also put up your feet?

A: Hi - this design has a footrest that extends when the chair is reclined, then self-stores when the chair is returned to the regular position. Hope that clears it up for you and thank you for the question!

Q: how far does the chair go down? flat? angle? How sturdy is the fabric?

A: Hi - the chair reclines to a 40-degree angle, but does not lie completely flat. The fabric we feel is very sturdy and comfortable. We have been selling this design for over six years with great success and customers seem to really like it. Hope that answers your questions, thank you for asking!

I was nervous to order since there are only a few reviews, but this chair is great! Key features and reasons why I am happy with my purchase include… -The beautiful faux leather is soft but doesn’t get too cold or make noise -The chair can stay completely upright without inhibiting the foot rest function (great for small spaces that don’t allow for space behind the chair!) -Adjustable headrest helps with height differences -The swivel function is not too stiff, but doesn’t move so easily that you rotate unintentionally

I looked long and hard for the right chair with the ability to recline, but also look sharp/modern. This is the one. The faux leather wears well. It's tiny, but very supportive and comfortable. My husband and I are 5'4" and 5'8" though.

I ordered 2 of these and was so disappointed when they were delivered. They are quite comfortable, assembly was quick and easy, but they are made of the sort of pebbled plastic that little kids' toy footballs are made of. I wasn't expecting them to look like leather, but they look very cheap even for the price. I paid the money to return them.
