Q: Does this stay cold? or do I still have to buy a lunch bag and ice packs? which defeats the purpose of spending this much of lunchboxes.

The lunchboxes are fine, but they did not fit in the lunch bag I chose (even though the boxes are slightly smaller according to domensions). It’d be very helpful if it was more explicitly stated what lunch boxes fit in which lunch bags.

I got this lunchbox at the beginning of this school year. The lunch box was great at first. the compartments are great, the lid seals, and the large compartment has a neat optional divider. However, now less than a year later, the hinge on the lid is cracked and the box is useless. If the hinge were tougher or if the box/ lid opened all the way flat so there would be less pressure to break, then this would be the perfect lunchbox.

Hi, I'm from El Salvador. Last year I bought another model of Bentgo lunchbox for my kids and I was very happy with them. So this year I decided to buy three of this specific model. I'm very disappointed with this model because when I put fruit and something else in the lunchbox, the liquids from the fruit spill all over the inside of the lunchbox... I usually put fruit (like watermelon, pineapple, grapes, mango, etc.), cookies or sandwiches in their lunchboxes, but the cookies and sandwiches arrive totally wet!

Bentgo makes such great products, I've purchased multiples of this one and the snack size container. I had an issue with needing a replacement tray and the customer service from Bentgo was the best. My kids are in preschool but we will be sticking with Bentgo lunch boxes for their entire school years (upgrading as they grow).

These open and close so easily! A definite improvement on our older ones. The two options for the removable divider are nice to have depending on what lunch I’m packing the kids. I’ve washed them daily for several weeks now and everything cleans up nice and fits together again easily. Only complaint would be that they are harder to open inside the soft lunch bags the kids take- the kids say they aren’t allowed to take them out to eat because there isn’t enough room at the table.

I bought this a couple of months ago and I love it but the only issue is that the divider is easy to loose or brake. My daughter said it fell off and she didn’t even notice when this happened. I’m sad because I loved the divider because I could put more stuff in it. Also, when you open it the trade will lift up with the upper part so you have to put it down. I would have given a 5 stars but because of this it will get a 4.

After 5 months of being used and cared as intended the leak proof seal got moldy and is crumbling into my food. The food tray is stained and both have odor. The company doesn't cover mold in their warranty so the only advice I got was to clean it with a vinegar solution. That do5stop the rubber from falling on the food. So it is unusable

Leaks after about 4 weeks of use. This thing goes in a cushioned lunch bag so it doesn’t get knocked around, and it’s only ever been hand washed because I worried about the seal on the top getting warped. Now every day the smallest bit of juice from my daughter’s fruit leaks out of the container, makes everything sticky, and has stained her lunch bag. I triple checked the tray insert, clasp, and rubber seals to make sure it wasn’t a user error problem and everything looks fine but it still leaks if you have even the smallest bit of fluid in your lunch. So expensive for failing so quickly.

The latch doesn’t keep it stay closed. Because the latch doesn’t seem to work properly, it is NOT leak proof. Not sure if we just got unlucky and got one that’s defective.
