Q: is this set TSA friendly?

As far as setting a metal detector off, more than likely, it wouldn't as stainless steel has low magnetic permeability, which means it does not produce a signal strong enough to be detected. As far as you being able to carry it on a plane, you may want to check directly with the airline, as different airlines may have different policies. Again I purchased these to match what I thought was a larger lunch box. I was disappointed with both. I found the cutlery to be rough….not easy to eat with like regular cutlery.

The design of both the utensils and the container is flawless. HOWEVER, the knife is useless. It’s unfortunate that the blade was only serrated on one side, and even that side isn’t sharp enough. The other side is smooth.

Fantastic utility in this utensil set. Love that they lock together just so and have a nice container to keep them clean for travel. I am buying a second set. Perfect size for travel, not too small or too big. And also a nice and useful shape to them. I am also a long distance hiker and if they made these in titanium (lighter weight), I would love to run a string through the little hole in the end and hook them to my backpack, they are that perfect. Highly recommend.
