A: The Essentials 10" inch Stainless steel Multi-Blade Herb Scissors can cut paper. However, that is not the intended use. The intended use is to cut food-grade herbs.

These herb scissors are fantastic for cutting fresh herbs. It may take a bit of time to clean, but I have found that simply rinsing them with water usually does the trick, eliminating the need for the small brush that comes with them.
Great gift idea for those just starting out or couples that like to cook together

Gave this as a house warming gift for my daughter and her Fiance. They like to cook together anyway. This adds a new element of creativity in the kitchen for them. They were looking forward to using it together.
