A: Yes! I ordered a navy umbrella and the cover is tan but it still is heavy and dips and ties over the umbrella and pole. Not quite to the bottom so I’m getting a small tarp for extra protection on that area.

A: Hello Beth, umbrella fabric is made from a synthetic proprietary fabric that's UV rated and water resistance. Unfortunately, fabric has not been tested for mold/mildew. Nevertheless keeping umbrella open after getting wet shouldn't be a cause of concern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were pleasantly surprised at the large size of this freestanding patio umbrella. It was easy to assemble (some portions take 2 people to do) and set up quickly. The ability to rotate it and change the angle is helpful to make sure we have "coverage" from the Sun throughout the day. It does move around in the wind (it is basically a big sail) but the pole stays firm, so I haven't been concerned about it tipping. We haven't tried to use it in strong winds, however.

My wife and I absolutely love this umbrella! It fit in perfect with our new backyard set. The lights are a beautiful white. They are subtle and calm but bright enough to light up the area very well. The color of the fabric came exactly as described. It was also very easy to assemble and disassemble if we need to relocate it. Operation of the umbrella is very simple to and we are very impressed with all the different coverage options. We highly recommend this product!

Not Happy- Sad because its a nice umbrella but the crank was broken upon arrival, the base was scratched, not sure if it was a returned product i got- reached out to target to fix the issue- they said to return it- the box is literally gigantic and I had to get my neighbors to help me move it to the backyard and than open it to start assembling ONLY TO FIND OUT THE CRANK was broken literally crakced out of the packaging and the base all scratched up- Not he response I was expecting- I thought Target was all about the customers- Now I have to find a way to return this thing to the store-

It is lighted and charged by solar cell on top and the lights provide really good night time atmosphere. Canopy tilts and rotates 360 degrees on a gear and locks and unlocks with foot pedal. Base uses water or sand, 300 lbs sand my choice

Just recieved and assembled this umbrella. What a great value. The umbrella came with very easy-to-assemble instructions. It took me less than 1-hour from time of delivery to having a working umbrella. It was a perfect size for our patio (table with six chairs). While it is still new, I would highly recommend this product. I am hoping that it will last for several years to come and this rating holds true.
