A: Hi Tchernin, I will be happy to assist you with this question, Our 2-Tier Round Industrial Wood & Steel Coffee Table has a MDF Wood table top, topped with a water resistant surface, however, we do not recommend to use outside since MDF Wood is more water absorbent than other types of wood, if left outside with rain, it can cause the wood to expand and damage the table. Loved the appearance and price point of this item. However, when it arrived, the assembly was impossible. The screws would not go into the pre drilled holes. Three of us tried! We returned it, as well as two other coordinating items, without even removing the other two items from their boxes.

It was an easy assembly, I was able to figure it out in under an hour as a 23 yr old lady. It's really sturdy, great compartment size underneath for a cat bed. I didn't notice the details on the side of the table when I purchased, they're discreet but work perfect with it. It's good value for how cheap it costs! Only advice is to use coasters when putting drinks on this table.
