Q: Is the powder coating only on the outside? Is there a coating on the inside of the planter parts or what is the metal coming in contact with the soil on the inside surface?

A: Hello AG, powder coating is on both sides. The type on coating is proprietary to BCP. It's designed to be robust, preventing rust and corrosion, yet plant, cultivation friendly.

This is my 1st official garden! I have many different brands for raised beds and this is one of my favorites. It’s easy to assemble, with wing nuts. And each individual panel does not come wrapped in thin, sticky, plastic. There is no reason for plastic, it can get scratched, we are putting dirt in it.

Easy to put together, extra parts also. I bought 20 of these for my wife for her garden this year, 10 charcoal, 5 tan, & 5 sage. It took approximately 30 minutes to install the first one, then about 20 minutes for each additional. One tip I can give is to assembly one completely by aligning all of the curved pieces with the outer most curved piece being the end piece, make sure the straight pieces are aligned with the curved pieces and make sure the bolt goes on the outside, washer and wingnut go on the inside. If you buy more than 1, you will end up with extra parts. All in all. We are pretty pleased with the assembly and durability at the moment. We have filled them with mulch about halfway and garden soil, hummus manure and peat moss. Will post an updated review in 6 to 12 months. Would like to thank Krazy Coupon Lady App for the heads up on scoring this great deal!

Am going to purchase more of this great product. Just as described and easy to assemble. Edges are not as sharp as other products. Metal pieces were protected by separate cushioning which also meant I did not have to pull a protector sheet off each piece. That was nice.

Cheaply made. The provided rubber edge protector doesn’t fit nor stay on so you have very sharp edges. Even with all screws in place the planter is unstable.
