[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Dutch oven for many, many years. So I finally purchased this one because of the beautiful colors and value. I have used a 3-4 times in the last 3 weeks, always hand washing it and being careful because it’s so heavy. Somehow the inside lid has lost its enamel coating on several of the dots and there’s a chip on the outside bottom, I have no idea how this could have happened and I’m so disappointed. Sure hope that enamel didn’t fall in my cooking.

I was pleasantly surprised how heavy it was and how level it is. The lid fits perfectly and cooking in it is great. I would have preferred a darker blue, but the peacock blue it good. Well worth the awesome price!

I figured that was why they were so cheap and by the time I got around to opening it I’d had it for over a month.

I'd been looking for a cast iron pot where I could make stew, spaghetti sauce, and Coq de Vin without worrying about the acid of the tomatoes extracting too much iron into the sauce. It is a great pot for large meals. I highly recommend it.
