A: Hi Lynn, I will be happy to assist you with this question, both the front and back wheels connect through an axle that goes thru the wheels and the frame and are secured with 2 cotter pins. the assembly can be done by one person in less then 10 min. A: Yes, to fold this cart, simply push inwards. There isn't a locking mechanism of such, however, pivot joints are made of high quality materials, allowing a tight fit while opening/closing.

Q: If there are cracks in a sidewalk that make it uneven, would this cart be able to roll over it easily, or would I have to roll it backwards with it leaning on its big wheels?

A: Depends on the cracks. There are times when I have to tip the front wheels up slightly, including going over the door threshold.

I'm pretty good at putting things together when they need assembly... ...but this was a nightmare. Once you start assembling this cart, you quickly realize the instructions leave a lot of necessary information out. It took 2 people over an hour looking online for better instuctions (spoiler: their weren't any) and watching the promo video over and over to try and get a glimpse of how it looks completed. Somehow we finally got it together. But that isn't even the worst part... The front axle to install the 2 front wheels is too long, so when using it the wheels jump all over like a bad grocery cart at the supermarket. And after using this cart 3 times, one of the bars fell off, and I can assure you I've handled it with care and don't throw it around for it to get damaged. Please don't purchase this cart - it's nothing but a headache.

WOW! What a find. My old cart front wheels did not turn. This made it difficult to turn. This new folding cart turns, is larger, and I love it. This cart was the same price as my old one. I am so happy I found this cart at this company. I am 5 ft. 3in and I am 81 years old. I can load all my grocery bags and have room for other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The axel provided for the rear wheels was too short and the holes for the pins to secure the wheels were not in the correct spot. I had to saw off part of the bracket to which the wheels were attached to fit the wheels. Have it working but will not fold up fully due to the brackets having to be shortened. Very disappointed. Should have my money back.
