Q: How do you hang this in a bedroom so that the chair is not way to high off the ground? The strings as they come are way to short.

A: Hi CC, i will be happy to assist you with this question, For our Cotton Macrame Hammock Hanging Chair Swing, Handwoven most of our customer mentioned to use an eye bolt screw secured on the sealing and extended with chains to the desired height, or you can use a stainless steel ceiling mount (round or diamond shape that can support 250-300 lbs) this will provide better support, you can add spring hooks to secure the mount and the chains. Got this for my daughters’ room. Replaced it with their rocker and they love it! It holds up well. Just added a blanket and they love sitting in it. I can’t attest to stability for the future but it’s been a couple months with no issues

I bought the cream color and the gray color hanging chair and only the cream color once came with the hardware needed to hang the chair. The gray hanging chair did not come with the hardware needed to hang it. Disappointed at that.

One I have in my lower level family room right next to the door wall looking out to the lake and this is where I do my morning devotion time. Golden. The other one is in our main level living room next to the door wall looking out to the lake and my grandkids will curl up on my lap and snuggle here. Blessing.

Purchased this as it was a good cost option and said it came with hardware. It does not. Hopefully they have since updated the product description. No instructions in the package or online with how to hang or the hardware needed. Had I known, I would have purchased another option.
