You can try whatever if that's the pizza you'll be happy with OR you can go legit and know why a great pie starts with the right tomatoes. Cheap pies taste cheap and these are not a bank buster. If you're invested in Ooni, buy these and don't look back!

I tasted The Ciao alongside DiNapoli and Lavalle, all of which are San Marzano tomatoes. Ciao came in last by a wide margin; LaValle was the clear winner.

Tomato juice has never been something I enjoyed. We ordered some Bianco used the tomato for pizza sauce, which of course left just the juice. The juice alone is fantastic, let alone the excellent tomatoes.
