Cautionary note when assessing these lighters based on customer feedback ("reviews"). It seems more that coincidental that almost all high ratings on this item are from "incentivized" feedback-reviews, customers receiving some form of promotion for their feedback. However, this applies to almost all other products, services offering "promotional" incentives for customer reviews.

I bought this based on really high ratings. Some reviews even said it was durable. I don't know if I got a defective unit, but it did not work well at all. It wouldn't light 50% of the time. I had to keep clicking many times until it eventually lit. Also, there is nothing durable about this product. It feels cheap in your hand. Posting this review so that others won't be misled like I was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the BIC EZ Load lighter from Influenster free for testing purposes and honest review. It was relatively easy to use and load. The only issue is, sometimes, I need to switch the position of the lighter to get it to close because I can't tell which is the right direction until I do, I put a lighter in. I like how it's reusable, and I could use pretty much any lighter I have laying around in this device. I don't like that there is no safety lock.

I would have given it 5 stars except sometimes it takes a few clicks and tipping it up to get the flame to ignite. There is not an adjustment for the flame size but otherwise I would purchase again

I don’t like having to throw away the entire product once it’s out of fluid. This is an awesome solution and I feel much better being able to refill the lighter as needed instead of throwing it away and having to purchase a new one. It is simple to use, easy to pack, feels heavy duty, and perfect for those who are environmentally conscious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] all you need is a bic lighter for this bigger lighter that is good for starting campfires or candles or anything you need a little bit of a reach with. I don’t like that it can only be used with bic lighters and you can’t just use any brand of lighter. It’s also not very powerful, it’s really just like a regular bic lighter flame in this extended version. Good to add to your camping gear though.

I didn't like how you had to click it a lot to get the long nozzle full enough of fluid to light. Needs some work, but great idea in progress.

This is very easy to pop the lighter in the case I guess you'd call it. Seems like the flame is pretty bright I guess for a lighter. I wouldn't say it's pocket friendly unless you just use the lighter and not the case.

You simply slide the small lighter into the bottom cartridge and pop the cap on and you’re ready to light up virtually anything more accessibly via the long lighter. 💡 I love this idea for powering your lighter, because when it runs out of butane, you can just pop a new “cartridge”, or BIC pocket lighter in, without having to completely replace your entire longer lighter. Anything that is more sustainable and helps on waste is a choice I like to make. The only downside I see is that you would need to make sure to have an extra one or two of the pocket lighters around for when your lighter does run out of steam.

It’s super easy to refill, just insert new BIC lighter. It works just as quickly as any other stemmed lighter. Only thing I didn’t like is there’s no safety button.

It’s very convenient to use easy to light. Seems it will last a long time. Let’s not forget the extra lighter that came with it.
It saves energy. It seems like it will stay lit for a long time.

So, for years, I have been spending so much money on buying torch lighter. They stop working in two weeks, and there are times when I am about to cook and cannot turn on the stove cause my torch lighter died. As soon as I received and tried the BIC lighter. I was in love with it. All that you do is just place a small lighter and there it starts to work. I have been using it for over a month now and it is still bright as the first day I started it. It saves energy. It seems like it will stay lit for a long time.
