Q: Has anyone been able to fix a dud? Purchased on clearance in summer, and upon first use in fall, the controllers work but it generates no heat. Manufacturer is no help.

You get what you pay for I suppose. It doesn’t work. It’s lukewarm in literally 1 spot and the rest of it is cold. That spot my warm water is warmer. I’m hoping they let me return it even if it’s only for store credit because this was a waste of my money.

It works but is not thoughtfully designed. The controller buttons click loudly and the display is bright blue... two things you don't want in a quiet dark bedroom. The heat is not even... it's nice in the center but cold just off center toward corners and edges.

I will update once we have had it longer. As of now it’s pretty good. It’s a nice set up. I like that you get so much cord. I can hide the remote under the bed at night as it is bright. It’s pretty big so it would fit almost any mattress depth. I can’t sleep if I feel anything in the bed and surprisingly I can’t feel the heating elements at all! My only real complaint is the connector piece is huge and hard and it’s on top of the mattress so no matter what way you have the mattress pad, it’s a nuisance and uncomfortable.

It's night one with our new heated mattress cover and BOY does it feel nice. Our bedroom is in a part of the house where the heat from the heaters never reaches. Every time I got in bed, the room was frigid, the sheets were like ice, and I spent hours just trying to warm up. Tonight, for the first time in years, I pulled back my covers to a cozy warm cocoon and I couldn't be happier! I can't feel any wires at all and I love the preheat function. So cozy! I'll update if anything changes but right now it's a win!

I have three issues with this product: 1. cold spots down by my feet (where I need the heat the most!) 2. the cords plug into the pad on top of the mattress, right under my feet (uncomfortable for sleeping), and 3. the lights on the controllers are bright.

Buttons are loud, display is bright, like having a nightlight in the room, and you cannot adjust the shutoff time, slow to warm up. Only positive is that it is comfortable, you can’t feel the wires. This is my 3rd or 4th heated mattress pad (controllers only last a few years), and this is the worst one.

It does exactly what it’s advertised to do. I think it could improve by changing the auto shut off to 12hrs instead of 10hrs, but that’s just because I bought this for my sons bed and I want him to stay warm if/when he wakes up before me and is playing in his bed with his toys or watching a movie.

Nothing to dislike . Winter is creeping up on us and nothing is better than crawling into a nice warm bed . It has a preheat function and multiple heat settings . Let see how long it lasts as the last one I purchased from this brand lasted about a year before one of the control boxes went out , leaving me with a half cool half heated bed , which in all honesty was kinda nice
Be sure Target isn't giving you a used one!

Car was in the shop so I had it delivered from my local store by Instacart. I bought it yesterday and put it on my bed today- all looked fine and I opened the box and plugged everything in. The mattress pad seems to work well but there is a blood spot (what?!?) on the pad. So obviously Target sold me a used and returned mattress pad. Gross. Took pictures and contacted Target since I’m still without a car- and was basically told to kick rocks and call Instacart. Normally I would just take this back to the store but with my car in the shop I can’t. I also do not wish to slap Instacart or have them blame my driver because the pad was this way in the box- they didn’t do anything wrong! It would be unethical to do so, this was Target’s liability. Anyhow, pad seems to be ok but a little on the big side which is fine (better bigger than smaller), but I’m seriously disappointed I was sold a USED mattress pad, that’s just nasty.
