Lasted one season and then ripped and the pool was full of the foam beads. WASTE OF MONEY. Should be advertised as a "disposable" unit after one year.

We can’t survive a summer without them, however, this is the first sit up float we have tried. It is an amazing float. It works for small and large people alike. You can control how much water you want on you on super hot days and has a drink holder as well. The is great in the water and on the patio- everyone fights over it! Need more of these!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite a “Big Joe” captains chair. If you had your own pool and liked floating around and relaxing this is for you! It has a drink holder and a pocket for what you like that is water resistant as it on the outside side panel. If you don’t have a pool it may be a bit of a challenge to store between use and transport. It’s like a bean bag chair so maybe dual home and pool purposes. Got a zipper to refill and thick fabric with handles to help maneuver around.

Why? their words: It’s so good, beautiful, comfortable, strong and easy do move inside the house, they don’t want to keep it outside to get dirty. My review for sure it is: GREAT PRODUCT! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Big Joe Captains Pool Float is a great addition to our pool! It is large, fluffy and comfortable. Both the adults and the kids will be fighting over who gets to sit in this. It’s filled with small foam beads so you can kind of shake it to adjust where you want more or less fullness. The zipper is also made in a way so your kids can’t easily open it and spill the thousands of beads in your pool, so that’s much appreciated. It does seem to be quick drying as well. It appears well made and seems like it will last quite a few seasons.

I don’t mean she jumped onto it with excitement; I mean the Big Joe pool float was quite tricky to sit on when it was placed in the water. I tried it myself and found that I kept flipping over, proving that, unfortunately, parents aren’t necessarily better at everything. She finally managed to settle onto the pool float lounger, she wore a mischievous smile. "I feel like I’m doing something wrong," she whispered, noting that because it is a bean bag, it was throwing off her sense of what a pool float should be. Is feeling like you’re doing something wrong fun? Absolutely! It is easy to use and requires no assembly. The material is highly durable, and it appears to be very safe.

These chairs are fabulous! They have lasted us 5 years! We just go new ones for Christmas!

this one had a gash in the seam which lets out the little white balls all over me and the pool each time it is sat on

very comfortable but you have to learn how to get in it, and sit in it. but, worth it.

I purchased this Captain'Chair as a gift for my son in law Matt as he is Bills fan and the colors are perfect. He really liked it but their dog Sabre has claimed it as his own.

Every single item I bought from here got a hole in it and spilled tiny white beads in our pool! Bought 4 items and 8 6 large holes between the 4 of them!

I bought two of these as a Christmas gift in 2022. They were barely used in 2023 because of late arrival at the cottage and now that they’re being used this year one has developed several small holes. The other chair is fine. Very disappointing as they are so comfortable and convenient

This is my 6th purchase of a Big Joe product. Clearly I'm a fan. However, the very first time I used it in the pool both seams tore open. I don't know if I got a defective product or not, but it's made me wonder if quality control has gone down hill since my past purchases. I will add that a pool noodle I bought last year also tore at the seam during normal use. But at least that was a year old!
