Would be zero stars if I could. Received the bottle and all the pills are stuck together. I can’t even get them out of the bottle. If you make soft gels, you should package them appropriately. Such a waste.

I am extremely Happy with this Bio Astin Astaxanthin product. This higher amount gives very excellent results that I can tell, in my skin tone, and also with my eyes. The capsules are very well made and the product is very protected from leaking and oxygenation. This is my favorite brand of this nutrient. I am So Glad that Swanson carries this brand, and also gives sales that help me to afford taking it. :)

A 12 mg.dose is considered optimum, you get that in just one capsule with this one. I purchased another brand of astaxanthin once, wasn't impressed considering the price. Nutrex Hawaiian Bioastin astaxanthin is a quality product and the price is fair, so I've been sticking with it and order it regularly.

My son takes these to help with knee pain. He is 20 and a lineman so needs to not have pain. Takes once day and can tell a difference if he does not take them daily. Will continue to purchase

Excellent product. Helps pain of neuropathy down legs from Type 1 diabetes, basically eliminated it. Took away all hot flashes! Helps my eyes amazingly. Could not live without the 12 MG.

You have no doubt read frequently and in many different articles and advertisements everywhere these days what a wonderful, powerful, and effective antioxidant Astaxanthin is. I started with the 4 mg., which was the only potency available when I became familiar with Astaxanthin a number of years back. Over time, this 12 mg. capsule became available, so I moved up to this strength. Swanson only offers it in a 30 capsule size bottle. Inconvenient and pricey. I found this 50 capsule size from Nutrex Hawaii, which is a company I like (I have used their Spirulina powder for years.), and it is not only more convenient than buying the 30 cap size under the Swanson label, it is a much better $$$ buy. Check it out. Works for me.

Tried this product and finished the whole bottle. I don't feel any different at all. The soft gel tense to get sticky, unlike other types of soft gel fish oil which are better coated and last longer when exposed to air.

I’ve been taking what’s considered a large daily dose of AstaX for months now (anywhere from 12-24mg/day) and gotta say, I can’t really say that it did anything for me --- joint ease, cardiovascular benefits...nothing changed. I will be coming off it shortly and may change my mind but in as much as its supplement powers are well documented, I don’t plan on buying again.

I've been taking astaxanthin for a little over a year, after reading about its properties and potential benefits. I started with the same brand in a 5mg dosage and changes to the 12mg a few months later. It's working very well for me, and the effects have been noticed by people like my doctors! The larger size here on the Swanson site is an even better value.
