I have used this product for 8 years. It keeps my mouth clean and super fresh . I honestly only go to get my teeth cleaned every 3 or 4 years and my dentists are always shocked how my teeth have very little to no plaque buildup. I am 52 and I used to have a lot of plaque buildup in between my 6 month or yearly cleanings for the first 40 years of my dental records . I swear the only thing I changed was my mouthwash 8 or so years ago. Prior to this I used a strong mouthwash like Listerine and it hurt my gums. Biotene oral rinse seems to nurture my gums !!( I only use the Gentle Mint ...it seems to have a slightly different ingredient list than the fresh mint and works best for me)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biogenesis has helped my dry mouth but now it has mint. Please stop putting mint in every mouth rinse. It burns my tongue and defeats the purpose of using a gentle mouth rinse!

I enjoyed using this product and liked the results it gave my mouth. This formula works to moisturize dry mouth and helps to freshen up your mouth. I liked the container and how easy it was to get the right amount of product out. I would repurchase this product.

This Biotene mouthwash product works fairly well for dry mouth. The flavor is just okay. I like the other flavors of Biotene mouthwash better.

First they removed the ingredient in Pronamel that actually helped sensitive teeth and expect you to now believe that fluoride, the thing in almost every other toothpaste, somehow makes Pronamel unique. Now from the people who brought you that, we have another “special” formulation that literally removes the only thing that made it special. What a joke. I hope you lost more in sales than you saved by skipping the enzymes.
Very disappointed

I have dry mouth caused by my blood pressure meds, and I was anxious to try one of these oral rinses. I chose the Mild Mint version and used it as soon as I got home. I expected great things. Instead, I was left with an odd, slightly gummy feeling in my mouth, and my tongue wanted to glue itself to the roof of my mouth. Gee, that's how my mouth usually feels. I was hoping for better results. Also, on the bottle it says to use twice per day, and maybe three times if your doctor approves. On the website, it says you can use it five times per day. That's quite a difference, so very confusing.
New Formula Not Working

The old formula with the Plaque Bio-Film (PBF) enzymes was absolutely amazing. However, since it was reformulated, and apparently doesn't have the enzymes any longer, it does nothing to prevent dry mouth (at least for me). Please bring back the old formulation that actually worked!
Not worth buying

The product has nothing unique since they removed the enzymes. The reformulation ruined a great product.

The new formulation without enzymes is worthless. I used PBF for years but stopped once the PBF was reformulated.

I have dry mouth due to medications and I can honestly this does not help at all. When I first tasted it I was thrilled that it tasted like a mild sweet sugar water (sugar alcohol) which does not burn my sensitive mouth, but taste does not matter if the product does not provide relief. I am surprised the claim states it can help up to 4 hours. My father is a dentist, so I know that dry mouth leads to tooth decay when ignored, so I will go back to another formula.

It has not helped. I just finished 6 weeks of radiation and tonight is the last time I am putting my self thu the pain of using this product. It was recommended by the Dr, but after looking at these reviews I suspect she was talking about an earlier version. UGH

The new line of products without enzymes do not help me in any way. I still have dry mouth and on top of it I know have plaque buildup issues I never had before. I was a believer and told everyone I know with Sjogrens that your products were well worth the price. Not anymore!

I used the PBF formula with enzyme for years and it worked wonders. I could feel the enzymes working to loosen plaque on my teeth and after rinsing, it left my mouth and teeth feeling squeaky clean. This new formula is terrible - not even comparable. I will not use it, but if you bring back the PBF enzyme formula, you will have me as a customer again.

I used the PBF formula as it was very effective, also an immense help with older teen's braces care. Sorry to say I will not be purchasing the new product without the enzymes; you lost another customer.
A Turn For The Worse, Worst

Like many of the recent reviews you have received, I too have noticed the degraded performance of your product since its change, so do not advertise it as "same formula as PBF." Yes, the change has been in place for some time now, but I wanted to give myself two full bottles (34 oz) before calling it out. My mother, a hygienist, originally introduced our family to this product years ago. She has already abandoned the new stuff, and so has my brother and his family. It looks like I am now ready to do the same. At this point, I do not expect you will revert back to the original formula, but instead wait until all original users have moved on, so that all who are left will likely never have known the goodness of the original. How sad.

I used the pbf formula for years and controlled gum disease well. The new formula without enzymes and aloe Vera gel is less appealing, works poorly to reduce dry mouth and is likely going to impact the health of my gums. Why discontinue what was working? Bring the previous formula back. It was a unique product in the market, and the new products are not.....
