A: Hello Sinta. Boric acid and sodium borate serve only as buffer agents and pH adjusters to control the pH of the product. Biotrue Hydration Boost eyedrops are provided in a bottle that allows the formulation to remain free of bacterial and fungal contamination that would render the product unsafe to use.

A: Hello AZ mom, The active ingredient in Biotrue eye drops is glycerin, a moisturizer found naturally in tears. The glycerin in our formula is plant based. Our formula also contains hyaluronan (HA), another moisturizer found naturally in tears, as well as an electrolyte and an antioxidant to protect the HA from free radicals.

The drops feel nice for my eyes but the bottle it comes in is the worst. After halfway through the bottle it starts to get harder to squeeze anything out. They need to make the bottle better.

I have Sjögren’s and these are the best eye drops I’ve found so far. They lubricate well. If you put a drop on your fingertip, you can feel how the texture is silkier than regular saline solution. The relief in my eyes is immediate after using.

These are my favorite rewetting drops. I didn’t wear my contacts for the longest time because they get dry so quickly. I came across these and decided to try them. I apply a drop in each eye and I’m good for several hours. The packaging is simple and easy to use. Price point is also in line with all other brands. I would however recommend these over others.

These eye drops work well for me, my eyes are pretty sensitive. Unfortunately the bottle and cap are terrible. Pretty often the bottle becomes collapsed and is very difficult to squeeze more drops out of and the cap comes off easily so I have to leave it at home in the box, so it can stand upright and the lid stays on.

I wanted to like these cause I LOVE BioTrue contact solution, but they are terrible specially for triple the price. The solution is fine, but not as good as any other contacts rehydrating drops. The bottle and dropper is, like, ridiculous. So wide and hard to aim or know what you're squeezing out. Also the snap on cap seems silly. I'm shocked someone thought this was a good design.

The drops themselves are fine. I usually use regular rewetting drops but decided to give these contact-specific ones a go and see if they provided more/longer lasting relief. I didn’t find them to work any better than other (cheaper options!) that I’ve used. The packaging is unbelievably bad. It’s so hard to get drops out and the bottle just gets squished and does not pop back into place. The cap is a pop on instead of a screw on so I wouldn’t even bother throwing these in my purse as I’m sure the cap would fall off. Pictures attached of the bottle’s current state (and I have only used these a handful of times). I highly doubt I’ll be able to use all the product with this packaging

I can’t believe this even passed any product testing at all! Absolutely terrible product packaging you definitely won’t get your money’s worth at all! No matter what the last third or more of the product will be stuck in the bottle and it’s pretty impossible to get it out. Avoid this product!

I find these drops to be non- irritating & many other brands I’ve tried were. They would make my eyes feel scratchy but these do not. My only gripe is that the cap is awful. I keep them in my bag & dirt had gotten inside somehow. Needless to say they were now contaminated & my eyes definitely did not respond well to that which is how I realized what occurred. I will now be keeping these in a plastic snack bag when in my bag so that can’t occur again but I just hope that the manufacturer redesigns the cap for a safer seal.

As a lifetime contact wearer, I often times do not take them out as often as I should. This has really helped increase moisture in between those times- especially during allergy season!

I spend a lot of time staring at screens and I find my eyes are getting drier the older I get. These provide a great boost of hydration and are totally non-irritating to me. The squeeze bottle is a bit firmer than I was expecting, but one small drop is perfect for hydrating my eyes without leading to overflowing tears. I had to blink more than the recommended 2-3 times to clear the blurriness, but after that I was fine.

Biotrue is already my preferred brand when it comes to eye care. I almost exclusively use their contact solution, so trying out these eye drops were a no-brainer. 1-2 drops do the trick when my eyes start to get tired or worn out after staring at screens all day. I also love that this bottle can fit anywhere… even in my pocket.
Worked well, bottle is great to keep in my bag!

Both my husband and I get a lot of watering and dryness from allergies, and have both used this when our contacts got dry later in the day. For us, we only had to use it once to boost moisture and it worked well!
