Bird Buddy 9" Solar Novelty Bird Feeder Yellow: Weather-Resistant, Pole Mount, Lithium Ion Battery Included

Love it! I have big hands it it was a little challenging to get the camera back into its spot but luckily I have the solar charger so I don’t have to remove it very often. Clear pics and video of my birds and I love the identification of the species. So fun!

I gave the Bird Buddy, to family members as a gift. They had been considering buying one themselves, which I did not know. They enjoy it very much and are quite pleased with all the features and information given.

I gave this to my parents for Christmas, it was the best gift ever. They are obsessed with the Bird Buddy. I get bird videos daily from them which I very much enjoy.

Purchased as a gift for my dad and he loves it. Has survived multiple raccoons trying to break it open- still working well!!

Bird Buddy with Solar Roof. Never worked properly. Had to send back item. Wouldn't turn on. Would go into sleep mode and not come on again.

The camera quality is good and the pictures are fun, but overall I think it is a poor design. It's very hard to open the little door in the back to add birdseed, and when you do get it open the angle and small size of the opening make it very difficult to add birdseed without spilling a lot of it. The small wire that connects the solar panel to the battery is also right by that little door, and after a few weeks of use that wire had broken so the solar charging no longer works. Squirrels have also chewed off the bottom of the clear panel where the seed dispenses, below the camera. (Although the pictures were amusing: "New species: Squirrel."). So although I love the concept, overall this is not a good product.

Love enjoying scrolling through my photos of the variety of bird visitors for the day, whenever I need a break from my workday. But, I don't like the software changes you made for me sharing my birds with other Bird buddy friends . Use to be an easy setup, but now I can't figure out how to share my feed.

I really love my little feeder and enjoy watching my “visitors”. I’m in awe of the technology behind all of it and can’t figure out how you can film different visits for me!! I know how I can take selected pics when I’m watching my favorite “buddies”, but the videos are a real treat for me to watch. Every evening I recharge my unit for the next day. The only question I have is …… why you keep telling me to use the cable that came with the feeder? Unfortunately, I have no clue where that particular cable disappeared to!!! I have no idea what it looks like and the one I found seems to be charging fine, and the unit shows me all the little lights (green, orange, red etc.). The 8 second blinking/charging red seems to be right!! What am I missing? Thank you for my amazing feeder.

I love my Bird Bird and so do my birds :) It has been a joy!

After only having my bird buddy up for four days I only had squirrels. On day 4 they decided to chew the camera wire from the back and I found the camera on the ground with bits of wire. I am not very happy with these squirrels or the design where this wire is accessible to be potentially chewed. I am sad.
