Here are the product Instructions and Usage: TEAR HERE PICK UP HERE THIS SIDE UP LAY FLAT WHEN MICROWAVING Storage Instructions KEEP FROZEN; DO NOT THAW; COOK AS DIRECTED For Food Safety & Quality Follow These Instructions Carefully: KEEP FROZEN - DO NOT THAW. COOK THOROUGHLY TO A TEMPERATURE OF 165° F. COOK ONLY ONE PRODUCT AT A TIME. PROMPTLY REFRIGERATE ANY LEFTOVERS. REHEAT BEFORE SERVING. Microwave Instructions MICROWAVE OVENS VARY - ADJUST COOKING TIMES AS NEEDED TO REACH 165°F AS MEASURED BY A FOOD THERMOMETER TAKEN IN SEVERAL SPOTS. 1. I LOVE brussel sprouts and this product did not disappoint! I like my steamed sprouts on the slightly soft side so I added an extra 2 minutes to the microwave cook time. CAME OUT PERFECT! Smothered with butter and a pinch of salt... I ate the whole bag for supper. Easy and no cleanup! Loved that part too!! A bit expensive for 8oz but overall was worth the price.

I purchased this recently and just made it tonight. There were barely any in the package and despite being cooked strictly following the directions on the bag, they tasted gross and the texture was incredibly mushy.

Packaging was easy to handle - directions for 1200 watt Microwave were spot on, but you could go an extra 30 seconds if you like a more tender finish. Sprouts were not the least bit bitter. That can happen with older harvest or when cooked too quickly. Good product - Highly recommended.

I love Brussels sprouts, and I thought I'd buy the frozen kind for easy access. Unfortunately, I found them so unpleasant when steamed that I ended up forcing myself to eat them and finally throwing some away. I don't recommend steaming Brussels sprouts. I didn't find them good. Eat them raw and shredded in a salad (wouldn't work from frozen), roasted, or even sauteed. I'm not sure if you can roast or saute from frozen, but this bag is clearly designed for steaming.

Bird's-Eye steamers are great with any meal- there's so many varieties of vegetables that you never get tired of them. Frozen vegetables have been proved to have as many nutrients as fresh and are healthier than cannned, which can have a lot of sodium. I love the brussel sprouts with a little butter or some chopped bacon!

I have been eating your steam bags of brussel sprouts for a long time and enjoyed them. For the last 6 months they are so bitter they are inedible. What had changed? I am buying a different brand now.
