I have purchased the Birdseye frozen cut green beans for years. Lately, the quality has deteriorated. The batch I just prepared were full of hard stalks and not palatable. This has been my experience for a while. Sadly, I will no longer purchase this product again.

I've been buying the Birdseye Cut Green Beans for years and loved them and have been a staple in meal planning. But the last several times I've purchased them I've been disappointed in the quality, taste, and texture. They are now mushy, thin, and have no flavor and I've had to throw out the last two batches as no one will eat them. What on earth happened to my favorite go-to green beans??? Please tell me it is just a bad crop and not a permanent change....

What happened to frozen runner beans These are french beans not runner beans.

Lately, it is hit and miss with Birds Eye products. This is for the green beans, corn, broccoli and now asparagus. Birds Eye used to be excellent every time we bought any product. Not any more. We've had basically spoiled broccoli numerous times. After microwaving, the juice we drained from the microwave bag was brown colored. Upon opening the bag it was mushy and brownish colored. Immediately thru in the garbage. I was going to try again, however it now says grown in Mexico. Will not buy this product. Why aren't you using U.S. grown vegetables. The asparagus spears I used yesterday evening were also spoiled. It drained out looking brownish, and upon opening the bag, they were all icky looking. And I never microwave them with the time recommended on the bag. Normally it's 45 seconds to a minute less. The asparagus when I looked on the bag said Chile. Do we not grow any veggies in the U.S. anymore??? Also, the green beans and cut sweet corn are hit & miss. Normally the past few months, they have been way over ripe for the corn and the beans are also over ripe or there are brownish beans mixed in with the other ones. Again, what has happened with your product and Quality control??

I usually buy the cut green beans with no issue but the current bag I bought had 2 of the hardest stalks in them. I initially thought I chipped my tooth but ended up just slightly cutting the inside of my mouth. A little worried how a couple of these rock hard ones made it past QA.

I bought these thinking they would be a quick and delicious vegetable. Boy was I disappointed. The beans were overly ripe with lots of spoiled spots and brown ends where they were broken and cut. I will never buy them again and I would never recommend anyone purchase them.

I came across this recipe for green bean soup. I think it looks yummy. Most of the veggies came from my garden, but I didn’t get too many green beans this year. This bag will spruce it up. I hope it’s as good as it looks.

I'm obsessed with this brand of green beans especially with salt pepper garlic on it.♡♡♡ it's my favorite food and I crave it all the time!!

I wouldn't give any stars. I did not even cook them. I was going to use a pot to heat up because I like to add seasoning as I heat up frozen veggies. I opened the bag and I noticed that the green beans were mostly brown. I didn't bother taking it back to the store.

1st bag I thought was a fluke but it wasn’t. Gross discolored yellow/ brown spotted beans. Low quality!

I like them, no salt add which is great. I don’t steam them in the bag I put them in a pan with season, butter, and light water enough to cover them on middle heat until the water is completely gone… delicious

This product had no flavor and texture was mushy. Didn’t even taste like green beans

Very good - they taste just like the ones in the can! Very quick to cook and can be added to any meal - super efficient!

I LOVE these green beans! so quick to make and always tastes fresh. They are cooked but still crunchy. So much better than the canned option and so affordable. Always tastes good and a great side dish!

I like this but not my favorite, it's a healthy veggie though and very easy to cook just put in the microwave and it has a fresh taste. I add this with my meats or fish to stay healthy :)

I like to keep these in the freezer to have once a week. I love them. My daughter loves green beans and this is an easy way to enjoy them. Plus the clean up is the easiest.

Easy, tasty, and healthy in one bag! Cooks up quickly and nicely in the microwave. Great on its own as a side dish, or add in to a beef stew or other recipe for a veggie boost! Would definitely buy again.
