Q: How do you know when the oven has reached the desired temperature.?
A: Thank you for your question, love. The toaster oven does not feature an audible signal for when the toaster oven has reached the desired temperature. We advise allowing five minutes for the toaster oven to preheat.

submitted byscubabob33 - 8 years agoA: Internal heating element glows red and cycles on and off as the oven heats. One can see the element glow through the oven window. After a period of perhaps 5-10 minutes, the heating element glow will stop cycling on and off as steady-state temperature is reached. This is the time to slide in the tray with food. A conventional oven has an "oven" indicator light that will shut off once the set temperature is reached. The toaster oven does NOT have a such an indicator light. So it is a bit of a judgment call to decide when the oven has reached its set point.
submitted bySugar Beets - 8 years agoA: Oven got so hot during first use. Just testing on toast setting and you could Feel the heat all around the oven. Not sure if there was something wrong with it or if that is how it is. I returned it the next day

Q: Is the exterior grey or stainless steel?
A: Mine appears gray to my eyes the front looks stainless.

A: Thank you for your question. The exterior of this toaster oven is stainless steel, with gray accents on the door handle and knobs.

Q: Is the inside coated with anything? Especially anything 'non-stick"?
A: Thank you for your question. All of our current toaster oven models have a zinc coated interior. Zinc coating is durable and contributes to heat and IR energy distribution. Non-stick coating was replaced with zinc coating for most of our models in the later part of 2011.
