Bought one of these fifteen years ago, bought another one recently because of the backpack bag design. The new one works even better. This thing mulches like a beast and rarely gets clogged. Emptying the bag is easier than the other bag design by far. I use my older one strictly as a blower now but can always use it as a backup if need be. I had a cordless Ryobi mulcher which was heavy, got clogged and shutdown often. This one is by far superior, though not cordless, but works reliably.

I bought this 5 years ago and it ran for two seasons. It had been working ok and I emptied the bag, came back and it wouldn't start. I verified power, it just wasn't going to run. What was I thinking, I bought another one and it worked for another two seasons then this one stopped just like the first. I emptied the bag, came back and it would run. I will not be buying another one.

It works pretty well. The directions were a bit harder to interpret. It took a bit to figure how to get the vacuum together. The bag seems small and fills quickly. I’m going to look for a way to connect to trash cans. I think I should’ve just got the Worx.

I was really excited to use the vac/mulch feature, main reason for the purchase 2 years ago but went to use it today to do leaves and it won't turn on. This would've been my 3rd time using since purchased. I Tried different outlets/cords, google and troubleshooted of course nothing worked.

I was excited to purchase this item to help me out this season as I am surrounded by trees between me and neighbors. However, I became quickly disappointed and annoyed with the functionality of this product. After about 25min the bag dettached itself from the blower. When I looked, the tubing had literally come undone and was unable to be put back together, therefore I was unable to attach the bag back to the blower/vaacuum.

My only complaint about this product is the integrity of the bag! They ripped way too easy and I am having to safety pin the holes/rips up and/or the zipper stops working! I went on this site to see if I could get a replacement bag., but after reading the other reviews, it appears not! I find it frustrating that you can’t get replacement parts, like the bag! My second bag didn’t last two seasons and that isn’t right!! I will have to take my business else where if I can’t get the bag replaced!

I bought this one over others for the price and also thinking it was a good product but NO the bag zipper failed after 3 or 4 times using it. Hmmm I tried to see if customer service would help under warranty and was told that the accessories are not covered. If this is an accessory why can’t I buy a replacement? Better to spend a little more money and buy a better quality product. I’m not happy with this product.

Best hand held leaf vacuum available at any price

I have tried several hand held corded (I have 25+ huge trees and a large corner lot) vacuum leaf blowers. All were lacking in bag storage, suction power and ease of use. B&D R&D and engineering scored a top mark for this model. I would have liked a metal impeller but most would have liked a custom fit attachment for the gutter cleaner, and backpack bag, and can storage. The blower does great. vacuum great, gutter cleaner great, and the can collection great, in fact they lead the pack for great design and usefulness. Now the canvas sleeve with ratcheting nylon belt closure leaves a lot to be desired. It comes off 1-2 minutes into use which is annoying and time consuming and vocabulary building. Poor design, poor engineering, basically worthless unless one cinches up with a tie wrap (not included) which in and of itself is annoying in changing back to a blower. Who approved this and let it go to market. On my own, I re engineered a work around as it should have been when it was in product development. A poor attachment sleeve cost you one star.
