A: My remote for the heater did not come with a battery..I have not read anything saying the battery was not included for the remote. Can I get one sent to me please?

I use this heater in my bedroom and my bedroom is a little bigger than the standard size. Sometimes I have to turn it off because my room gets so hot so fast. Definitely a good investment.

Did not work straight out of the box. Black + Decker says to contact them before attempting a return. I did, missed my return window for Target, and now Black + Decker has been stringing me along for MONTHS trying to get the item replaced. I’m positive they have no intention of replacing the item and are hoping I just give up. It has literally been 5 months of this.

The buttons don’t even work. Remote either. So confused at why there are up and down buttons when they do nothing. Cord does get hot. It heats up quick but makes me worried about a fire hazard. Just be attentive

For starters...no battery for the remote, buy your own. The settings are confusing to say the least. If you set a temperature to shut off, the fan and oscillation keeps going with heat shut off. The temp display fluctuates up and down at least 5 degrees for no apparent reason. Should be priced around $15.

Why is this so hard to use? I read the reviews and was like, no I'm a smart capable person. I can figure this out. Plus it's for my toddler's room so maybe he won't be able to adjust the settings. Nope. I figured out the "hold the sun" for three seconds trick and watched a ton of tutorials but realized THE HEATER NEVER GOES OFF. If it reaches the desired temperature it blows COLD AIR. So now I have this loud heater blowing constantly in my kids room 24/7. Why? Why? WHhhhhhhy?!?! The nice thing is it does keep the temperature constant. So if you want to turn it on and never think about it again, this is the heater for you.
Hold the 'sun' for 3 seconds to adjust the temp.

You have to hold the button above the sun for 3 seconds to be able to turn the temperature up or down… I just wish this was a little more clear and not the final direction. 3 stars bc I didn’t receive a remote.

Amazing little heater! We've purchased 2 of them for out kids' rooms. Though I think the arrows on there are just decorations and the remote doesn't come with a battery lol but heating quality is top tier!

Was looking for a space heater since it gets cold in Texas and saw this stand up one was on sale so I went for it. The brand is pretty well known so I didn't think it would be much of a problem. This thing is really hard to figure out. The power button doesn't do anything on my device. I have to plug it in or unplug it completely to turn it off. Trying to figure out the settings is a pain. There's a fan function, low heat and high heat but those settings really mean nothing. It's impossible to figure out how to even set what you want it to get to. It just does it on its own. The product is definitely cute but considering how annoying it is to use, I'm about ready to return this.

Did not work. Buttons did not work nor did the remote. You get what you pay for, no wonder it was on sale. Black and decker has really gone down in quality.
