Blackstone Black Griddle Cover

We finished assembling the 36" model this morning. Now to do the cover seasoning and start using it. Before this, we used the small single burner tabletop. That works great but we wanted something larger. My only nit with the grill is the hard cover. It's designed to hang on the back while the grill is in use. But, you can't do that because the grease cup is on the back and with that in place, the brackets on the bottom of the cover will not allow the cover to be hung. The cover and the back of the grill top have what looks to be cutouts and holes suggesting that the top can be mounted to the back of the grill allowing the top to hinge up in a vertical position. But no hardware was included for this, nor are there instructions in the manual for this.

Nice top! So easy to put together that a hillbilly could do it!

I love this top, easy to clean, and not heavy. Definitely covers griddle and keeps the water out

My husband loves his new cover. It fits perfect. The cover is the perfect addition to his griddle.

It came in when they said it would. Had a small dent on top of the cover but it will do the job it’s meant to do

Nice however I heard of people getting dented covers because the cover is somewhat flimsy (my cover was fine) I suggest Blackstone use a heavier gage metal

You need this if you have an older model that didn't include a metal lid, it has two metal hangers that holds the lid up while cooking

Very low quality and feels like tin foil. Very disappointed in the quality. Returned it immediately at personal expense which is also sad

I bought the 36” hard cover in late January of this year. After a few months, rust starts to appear. It’s been almost 4 months and half of the cover is rusted.

The cover is fine but it is not hinged. I thought it was. It has hooks to hang off the back but you can’t hang it and have the grease trap attached at the same time.

The lid for the blackstone is perfect. We use it all the time.

It fit our son-in-laws grill perfectly. He was happy with the high quality.

Quality produce however NO instructions. Had to go to YouTube

It was slightly bent on the back . Also missing little back of screws. Other than that looks good.

It came all dented, product is good! Too much of a problem to return.

Now I don’t have to worry about the soft cover sticking to the cooker.

Received my top metal cover for my 36 inch griddle. It was on the griddle for about 6 months before I covered the griddle for the winter, after surgery, May was the earliest I could use it. removing the cover I found rust spots all over the cover Poor quality Should be power coated

I returned it, waaaaay too expensive, got a diamond plate aluminum one for a third the price.
