Blake's Frozen All Natural Chicken Pot Pie - 8oz

While the ingredients are good quality, and the overall flavor is great, there's not an excessive amount of any particular filling, and not an acceptable amount of pie at all. In addition to the lack of fillings, the dish isn't filling eough. It's not enough to satiate a normal appetite, and it's such a bad value and overpriced for what you get.

It was just enough to satisfy my hungry very fulfilling. The chicken chunks were nice size and all the ingredients were great. I know it say not to put in toaster oven, we'll i did and get came out perfect. Brown and crispy as I thought it would.

The first time I tried one of these, the browning technology in the box worked beautifully and I had nice crisp pastry. But when I bought more, I found out that sometimes the top gets crisp and sometimes it is just soggy pastry. If it were always crisp this would be at least four stars, but it's just a totally different experience if the pastry doesn't brown correctly. I did like the filling, but agree that there isn't very much of it. This is really more a snack than a meal. For the price, it's hard to justify when there are so many other pot pies on the market that are cheaper and similarly tasty.

Disgusting, not a single piece of chicken very small portion and all peas and carrots. Really? The glowing review placed in the news was a complete lie!

Saw that these were on sale and had to try them. They’re not homemade, but they’re probably one of the most homemade tasting frozen pot pies that you can get. You can definitely taste the vegetables more than any other frozen pot pie I’ve had and the crust is flaky too. That being said, still not sure if it would be worth it at full price since they are a little smaller (but on sale or at a moment of weakness, I would get again)

I bought this on a whim and now I keep coming back for more! This just does not compare to Marie Callender's chicken pot pies (though those are yummy in their own way). The flaky crust, the filling, the balance of chicken to veggie- this is just EVERYTHING! While I agree with the other reviewers that this could be bigger, it makes for a quick meal with a salad or veggies or an apple.. These have become one of my grocery list essentials.

Great and all natural ingredients. No fillers or soy products. Absolutely loved it. Could be a bit larger but if you have a salad with it, a perfect meal. Absolutely love this product. Healthiest choice.

Great l I’ll ed size & amount of chicken

All pastry puff and hardly any filling. Very dry. The good news is that Target offers so many other items of this category that are delish! I was trying a new brand and will go back to Amy’s or Good and Gather!

Such a small portion! Barely had much filling, lots of peas. The filling was basically flavorless and the chicken was dry. The crust was crunchy after putting in the air fryer.

Ok but small. They cooked up with a nice crisp top etc and taste good but for the $ super small. I would stick with Marie Calenders.

I basically agree with the negative reviews. Not much filling and the crust was gummy even after baking the full time. There were probably 4 or 5 small pieces of chicken that tasted OK but, otherwise, it was pretty flavorless.

This pot pie was small and there wasn't much filling. It was decent flavor and the crust was good. The picture on the box is deceiving as to the level of filling in the pot pie. I would not buy again.

I bought 2 of these and after eating one threw the 2nd out! There's a very minuscule amount of chicken and vegetables, just some mediocre gravy and crust for a ridiculous high price! Stick to Marie Callender's that have pieces of chicken and veggies in them.

I like this pot pie, it has antibiotic chicken. The taste is good. I’m happy, I went back and bought more the next day. I have no complaints, I didn’t cook it the full 40 minutes in the oven and the vegetables were crunchy. I put them back in the oven. No problem. This pot pie is a home run for me. I recommend buy. The crust is flaky, I enjoyed this pot pie. No complaints.

I used to get these at the grocery store near my house but they raised the price a LOT recently. Target's price is very reasonable. I love Blake's chicken pot pie for two reasons: the gravy is really good--it actually has flavors other than salt. If it was sold in jars, I'd buy it regularly! The pie doesn't have much chicken at all and not a lot of peas and carrots, but the gravy and the crust make up for that. I've been making pies for nearly 50 years and I abhor commercial pie crusts in general---much too thick and dense. Blake's crusts and thin, buttery, and flaky---just the way pie crust should be. I would give this 5 stars if it had a bit more chicken in it. I recently got a pot pie from a major brand that is everywhere, just to compare to Blake's. Never again. It had more chicken and vege than Blake's, but the only flavor in the gravy was salt and the crust was practically bullet-proof. Ew.
