This brand is highlighting how sturdy their blenders are, and they are being promoted as great for use in cafés. We run a small café, and the blender broke in about 1 year. When sent for a fix, the engine had to be replaced. We got it back, a it broke again instantly. This was a fully paid repair! The blender itself worked really well - the best we've ever tried in terms of performance - and was very silent... but it isn't nearly worth the money at just 1 year of use. The container itself performs well, but isn't of high quality, with us being on the third container within the first year of use. We'll stick with the cheaper competitors from now on, they might break as quick, but we can buy 4-6 of them for the same price... so that is an overall better deal.

Looks like glass cover and jar but everything is plastic but sustainable product

We have been using Blendtec for many years and have gifted these incredible products to the whole family on many Xmas. No blender out there comes close! Our health depends on the smoothies that we concoct on them daily…nuts, seeds, frozen fruits, vegetables and powders, Blendtec turns all these ingredients into powerful nutrition. I am 80 years old and in great health and shape!

Loving the upgrade to the 800 Professional blender. Very quiet.

This is not our first Blendtec blender. Other blenders we have had often get caught by frozen fruit that makes them bind up and stop. This blender has yet to have any problem making fruit smoothies. It is also much quieter than the other blenders.

It smells and is less powerful than my old one. I am going to return it.

This blender has been in our home kitchen for 6+ years and it is the only blender that pulverizes whole fruits and vegetables including avocado seeds whole beets into micro particles maximizing nutrient bioavalability! Recommended to us by QiGong MasterJeff Primack.

I am impress with the power and quiet blender.So far the best blender in the market.

Have had blendtec for years! First one repaired after thousands of uses then replaced after thousands more. I use it sometimes several times a day! Then I got another after warranty expired. Never an issue. Gave to daughter and bought the professional one. Love it. Never a problem. I’ve had it for four years and use it so much! I am buying another because I have to set up another place away from home and this is on my short list of things I cannot live without!

It’s now been 12 yrs and still going strong. We work our Blender a couple of times a week for smoothies, often with frozen fruit and ice!! We even add raw almonds and yet you would never know, because of how smooth the finished product is. An Excellent Blender!!

Great and powerful. No issues after 8 years so far. Use it weekly

I purchased a Blentec Pro 6 years ago (the warranty is supposedly 10 years). It worked great for about 5 years (I only use it sporadically for myself and my husband, no more than 5 times a month, sometimes even less than that). I had it serviced a few months back because after about 20 secs of use it sounded and smelled like plastic / chemicals were burning inside of it. I contacted Blendtec Customer Service, and went through a lengthy process of answering a million questions and sending videos and motor and jar numbers, packing the blender and sending it out… After we received the ‘repaired’ blender back, it looked like they only oiled the motor base (the jar is always soiled with black oil on the bottom now). The smell was gone but it never sounded great since (we only used it maybe five times). For example, the smoothie cycle usually starts off slow, then speeds up. It no longer speeds up now. Sometimes, it randomly turns off by itself and gives me some cryptic error message like: Error: zero crossing not detected. This last time we used it it sounded like someone's drilling inside of it - immediately after turning it on. I tried contacting Customer Service again, but to no avail - no response. We gave up on this product and this company. Don’t waste almost $900 on this (the taxes are $70+).

The blender on its nose is great, sharp looking, and as advertised quiet!! However unless you plan on making a full carafe, which is of considerable size, one of two scenarios will happen on the smoothie setting with a carafe that’s such a square. Pockets of unmixed potential get stuck in the corners or an air pocket forms, in either scenario a utensil is required to correct this inconvenience. Admittedly it’s a small matter for an otherwise solid blender but for the price, reputation, and potential it’s an unfortunate occurrence.

Purchased two blendtecs over the years, then decided to make a major investment in the 800. Awesome sound dampening and operation. After a few years it stopped blending properly. Out of 7 days a week I use maybe 4 days 90% smoothies. Customer service had me return for repair. Unit repaired. a few years later started smoking. Had me return it again. Customer service is great in that Blendtec backs their warranty. After a few months, I detect a slight burning smell and the unit does not run like it used to....it's almost as if someone turned down the throttle(I know it sounds hard to believe but it doesn't have the power it used to). At this point I am at a loss, I have not called CS. I don't know if I got a lemon but for the amount invested I am very, very disappointed. It's still within warranty but how many times do I have to box this up and send it back? I have recommended Blendtec to others but I will not be doing so anymore. At this point I would like a resolution that does not involve me shipping this back again...this would be the 3rd time.

I am very happy with my blender and I wish I wind have stared here first. I went the vitamix route and tried the A3500 which is supposed to be their top of the line but after 3 replacements the blender could not handle a simple smoothie. After reading more reviews others had the same issue. I returned the blender and tried a series 800 from blendtec and it blended what the vitamix couldn’t with ease and was much quieter having the sound dampening cover! I would recommend this blender to everyone looking for a serious blender that is also quiet. I love it!!

Epic blender so far. Only had it few weeks. Blended oranges into juice smoothly. Made ice cream, somewhat successfully. It crushes ice no problem. Powerful and quiet. I tried making carrot juice and was unable to blend it smoothly but may need to try again. I look forward to years of service and fun. I would definitely recommend this model to others, especially if you can get it on a nice sale.
