Blind Trust by Natalie Walters shares the story of Lyla Fox and her daring role with the SNAP Agency. Lyla is undercover working an investigation of veteran fraud. However she is not as careful as she once once and she blames it on the presence of Nicolas and his charm. Suddenly Lyla receives a death threat and there are several close calls for her life. What is going on? Who is put to get her and why? Will her life be influenced by Nicolas? Can she work with him moving forward? Is it worth the cost? Blind Trust weaves quite a tale of mystery and romance. This book is part three of a series and as a first time reader of this series (and the only book I read from the series) I would recommend reading the first two books. The story is captivating however I think the reader would enjoy it as part of the series and not a stand alone book. I did enjoy the book and would recommend. I was given a free copy from the publisher for my honest review.

Blind Trust is the third book in The SNAP Agency series by Natalie Walters. While it could be read as a standalone novel, you will want to read them in order. Also, the novella, Initium is best read between the second book and this one. I would have enjoyed it more (and understood its purpose more) had I read it right before this one. We, the readers, have been watching the tension between Lyla and Nicolas build for three books. Now we finally have their story, but it is bittersweet because it is also the end of the series. Blind Trust is intense! There is so much happening, personally for Lyla and Nicolas but also professionally for them. The story starts with a bang, and it's hard to put it down. There are several plot twists along the way, and one will hit you in the gut. One of the things I have enjoyed about this series is the friendship the SNAP agency has. Even when things are intense, the team knows each other well enough to know how to break the tension, either with humor or by taking a break to reset. I know I am not saying much about the plot, but the synopsis tells you what you need to know, and I do not want to give spoilers. I highly recommend this entire series. Thank you to Revell for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

OH. MY. GOODNESS... I loved this book!! Bling Trust was an amazing book and by far my favorite in the series. I finished it within 2 days because I just could not put it down!! I have been looking forward to Lyla and Nicolàs' story since book 1 and it was worth the wait!! I loved getting to know both of them better and their slow burn romance was a delight!! I loved the characters' love and support for one another and the witty banter between the team was top tier and made me love this group of characters that much more! I love when a series just keeps getting better with every book, and the SNAP Agency Series does just that! I will be talking about and sharing this series for a long time because it's THAT good!! I am sad the SNAP Agency has come to an end but I am so excited to get my hands on the Harbored Series very soon. If you enjoy slow burn romance, friends to lovers, witty banter, international conspiracy, government conspiracy, and edge of your seat action and suspense, this book and the entire series is a MUST READ! This novel can be read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend starting with the prequel novella and making your way through the entire series so you can get the full backstory, you will not be disappointed. **Thank you to Revell Fiction for sending me a copy of this book!

Lyla is a member of the SNAP Agency. She is great at her job, but is often impulsive, taking risks without counting the cost. Nicolas, a weapons expert and fellow SNAP member, is driven crazy by that. He believes she is a loose cannon, and because of that, he feels he can never fully protect Lyla. She puts herself and others in harm's way. Because of that, Nicolas has never told her he has feelings for her. Despite his attraction, will Nicolas leave the agency because he thinks Lyla is more impetuous around him--so would she be safer without him? Lyla has been getting threatening notes, but believes they are from someone she put in prison. But that man is now dead, yet the notes keeping coming, along with attacks. Nicholas and Lyla face increasingly perilous situations. Will Lyla's erratic behavior make it impossible to keep her safe, and cause her death? This is an exciting story that will keep you turning the pages, there is lots of danger and adventure. It is the third in a series, but the story stands alone. This five-star book is told from a Christian point-of-view, and will be enjoyed by fans of thrilling, well-written stories. Thank you, Revell Books, for providing Tickmenot with a book to review. Opinions are my own.

The trio series about "The SNAP Agency" (think CIA and other alphabet governmental agencies) concludes with Blind Trust in a convoluted, multi-storyline that features the dynamic duo Lyla and Garcia. This duo was one team of several in The SNAP Agency and their relationship - working and personal - was most elusive. The story opens with a threatening letter to Lyla from a man she helped put in prison (a crime-stoppers ongoing fear), and then that threat opens the door to cavernous situations and challenges both personal and professional for Lyla, Garcia, and other SNAP Agency team members. As the story comes to a conclusion a series of events explodes into rabbit trails of propitious proportion. Excitement! Trust! Fear! Bits of humor, and a budding romance that you wonder will ever flower. The author has a talent for creating intense situations, strong characters, believable scenarios, and mind-warping conclusions. A good read. Clean. Worth sharing. DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and author to facilitate a review. Opinions are mine, alone and are freely given.

I was so excited when I received Blind Trust in the mail. I’ve been waiting for this book - for Lyla and Garcia to finally have their story. What a great way to end this series. I loved the suspense and action which starts at the beginning and builds throughout the entire story. I really enjoyed learning more about Nicolas and his past. The character development and the relationship with Nicolas and Lyla is amazing. I love their banter, the romantic tension, and how they learn to look out for one another. What a great way to end the SNAP Agency series! If you haven’t read these books, grab the novella and start at the beginning. You will not be sorry.

Blind Trust was a wonderful wrap up to the SNAP series. SNAP stands for Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency. The SNAP team of five work together like family to neutralize threats nationally and globally. From the prequel and first two books, we see the attraction between Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia. However, both fight it and refuse to acknowledge it. The slow burn between the risky spitfire and the serious explosives expert builds throughout the series and I couldn’t wait to see how the two of them would finally come together. In Blind Trust, Lyla is threatened by someone in her past which leads the entire team on a hunt for an international arms scheme spanning 25 years. As the risks get closer, so do Lyla and Nicolas. Blind Trust is full of suspense and tension balanced with humor and banter. The friendships between characters draw you in and make you want to join the team yourself. I loved this book and highly recommend this entire series. Although this book could be read as a standalone, I encourage you to read the entire series in order to better enjoy and appreciate the story.

Agents at the SNAP Agency find themselves in the position of investigating threats made against one of their own, Agent Lyla Fox. Lyla's impulsive nature and her high tolerance of risk make protecting her difficult, and especially stressful to Agent Nicolás Garcia. Tensions between the two increase as does their awareness of the attraction between them. Natalie Walters has penned a romantic suspense with international intrigue, danger, family drama, and romance with just a bit of sizzle. Suspicions are planted and surprises spring at just the right times to keep readers thoroughly engaged with the story. The humor provided by the team's self-proclaimed IT genius is well played providing the needed break when tensions reach the breaking point. Blind Trust is a very enjoyable read. I am grateful to have received a complimentary of this book from Revell through LibraryThing without obligation. All opinions expressed here are my own.

Oh my! If you're looking for an intense suspense book with some romance woven in between the action, then you will be pleased with this book. This book has plenty of the above and more. I enjoyed the banter between Nic and Lyla, it swayed between orneriness and defiance, which made it a fun story to read. Highly recommend the book. Disclaimer: I received an ARC copy of this book from the publisher with no exception in return. I wrote the above honest review voluntarily.

I received this book as an ARC with no expectation of a positive review. Ms. Walters is a new author to me. This book is fabulous. I learned so much. Lyla and Nicholas as well as all the members of SNAP are fabulous characters. Lyla receives notes from a person she helped to put in jail due to money laundering. SNAP thinks they closed the case. Is it really closed or did they just hit a tip of the iceburg..
Just read it!

This series has landed in my top 5 favorite series! Lyla and Garcia's story finishes The Snap Agency with a bang. There was an unexpected twist I didn't see coming, though in hindsight, the hints were definitely there. I can now say I've read every book Natalie Walters has written up to this point, and they just keep getting better!

Neither of the times (before the first book and again before this one) that I read the prequel to Natalie Walters’ SNAP Agency series, Initium, did I even imagine all of the loose threads that needed to be tied up! Natalie Walters has done this so brilliantly including some that completely surprised me in this exciting wrap-up of the series. Although each book in the series could stand alone as a complete story, the depth of each team member’s character is best understood by reading the entire series in order. If you are starting with Blind Trust, I highly recommend at least grabbing a copy of Initium first. It’s a quick read and lays the foundation for much of this book. In a way I am sad to say goodbye to the team. But at the same time, I’m wondering — did I see a hint of what’s coming next in some of the minor characters here? Can’t wait to see if I’m right! I received an advance copy in Netgalley as a member of the book’s launch team and ordered a hard copy to share with a loved one. This is my honest review. I have read all of Natalie Walters books available so far, and plan to continue as long as I’m able!

Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is the third book in her SNAP Agency series. Lyla Fox has been receiving threatening letters from a man she sent to prison. Now the threats have escalated. Can Nicolas Garcia and the rest of the SNAP agents protect Lyla and figure out what is going on before things turn deadly? Another edge-of-your-seat book from a great author who knows how to reel you in from the first page! Lyla and Nicolas were a great team. I really enjoyed their story. It was a great ending to the series. I received this book from the author for my honest review.

Blind Trust is the best book in the SNAP Agency series, and if you’ve been reading along, you know that’s saying something! Lyla and Garcia really shine here, and Walters uses this story to weave together all the threads she’s been tugging since the beginning of the series. These both played large roles in making Blind Trust both a fun book to read and one that dealt with the heavy issues of terrorism and fear with a balanced hand. I’m not interested in fluffy books; I want to learn something when I read, but the best stories for me teach me while I’m lost in the story itself, and that’s exactly what Walters does with Blind Trust. Actually, it took me far longer than usual to read this book; partly because I really didn’t want to say goodbye to Kekoa and the gang, but also because I kept backing up and rereading. That’s really rare for me, but I kept thinking of things and making connections and going back a bit to read again. Finally, as I neared the end, I could tell that the events of Initium were critical to Blind Trust, and I put the whole book down to go reread the prequel short story since it had been a while since I’d done so. Then I backed up again. That might seem weird, and it is unusual for me, but it was also perfect for Blind Trust. You won’t want to miss a single reference, so take the time to start at Initium and work your way through the whole series, even if you’ve read them before, because you’ll get so much more out of them this way. I’ll be doing that again soon, because even though I know how it all wraps up now, you can never have too much Kekoa or Lyla. If it seems weird that a supporting character takes up so much space in the hearts of reader-fans everywhere, then you haven’t met Kekoa yet – but you should, because if you know, you know. What I loved about this particular book is that Lyla nearly reaches that same kind of stardom in my head. She’s sassy and snappy and fierce but also full of love and goodness, determined to help anyone she can. Lyla makes a perfect female lead, so when you set her up against Garcia and throw hunky Hawaiian Kekoa into the mix, it can’t be anything but fantastic. So for all of these reasons and more, you need to read Blind Trust. Grab your copy today – it releases everywhere in just one week! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Another great book in the SNAP Agency series! While this is book 3, you could probably read this one as a stand-alone, but I'd recommend reading the earlier books in the series to get a feel for the dynamics of the SNAP team as that will help you to better understand the dynamics happening throughout this book. I'd definitely recommend reading the prequel novella Initium prior to this one as some of the events in that story show up in this one. If you haven't read that one (or if, like me, it's been awhile) there's enough information provided in this one that you won't be lost, but this does have spoilers in it for that one, so I wouldn't recommend reading Initium after Blind Trust. If you're a fan of the series and have enjoyed the banter between Lyla and Garcia, they finally get their story in this final installment. We get to see a little of their respective pasts that help to explain why they get under each other's skin so much. When death threats from someone Lyla helped put in prison a few years ago begin to escalate and Nicolas Garcia is offered an assignment on his old team, all of the sparks begin to fly. As Lyla and Nic navigate these issues as well as their own growing feelings towards each other, both the action and the potential for romance increase. There was a great deal of character growth and development and a solid faith thread woven throughout. Themes of trusting in God were prevalent throughout as well. The mystery/suspense element kept me turning pages, and some of the banter had me literally laughing out loud. While I've enjoyed all of the SNAP Agency books, I believe this one is my favorite. If you enjoy romantic suspense novels, this is one I'd definitely recommend! Special thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance e-copy of this book. I was under no obligation to provide a review and the thoughts contained herein are my own.

A phenomenal conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! I couldn’t put it down! I have been looking forward to Lyla’s and Garcia’s story and this book exceeded all my expectations! We finally get the background story on both characters that explains why Garcia is always frustrated with Lyla’s lack of self-preservation in dangerous situations. This book was non-stop action from the very beginning with some extremely shocking revelations. The characters also have great humor that had me laughing out loud at times. Overall I think Natalie Walters tied the entire series together beautifully. Can’t recommend this book enough! *I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. What a great ending for an awesome series. I have to say Blind Trust is my favorite of the series. I loved getting more of the banter between Lyla and Nicolas as well as watching their relationship grow and change. But more importantly to finally get their story. I also loved spending time with the team. And Kekoka gives off a combination of little brother and big brother at the same time. At first glance Nicolas and Lyla don’t look like they work, and Blind Trust from start to finish shows readers the journey that started at the end of book one. And what a journey it was, the added suspense not only kept this reader turning to the page to find out what happened but also wondering if Nicolas has any gray from the adventure. Lyla and Nicolas are my favorites from this series. And I didn’t think anyone could replace deputy Ryan Frost as my favorite of Natalie’s heroes. But I was Nicolas Garcia is now my favorite hero especially after reading Blind Trust and getting to know him better. Nicolas Garcia just scream hero while whispering I have a soft side I keep hidden. And just like with Natalie’s previous books a secondary was a favorite as well. In a Blind Trust it was Nicolas’s neighbor Korean War Army vet Mr. Brandt. Who reminded me of Korean War vets I had the privilege to know including my grandpa. I loved the pop culture and science jokes sprinkled through the book. And how much a family the SNAP team is. This is a great ending to an awesome series. And if you haven’t read it you need to. Makes sure you start with the novella Initium to get the whole story as well as background. I can’t wait to see what Natalie does next even though I hate to see these characters go. Wow, what an amazing conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! I have ‘shipped’ Lyla and Garcia since the very beginning of the series so I was beyond excited to read their story, and I loved it so much! Lyla is such a fun character, I love her spunkiness (or moxie as Garcia says!) Nicolás Garcia is such an amazing guy! I love me a strong, tender, quiet, thoughtful, and unswervingly loyal hero, and if he happens to be an expert in EOD even better! (for those not in the know that stands for explosive ordnance disposal aka the people who defuse bombs) Nic and Lyla’s romance is a very slow burn, and I loved watching them realize they had feelings for each other that went beyond friendship! I loved the faith story in this book, it was woven in so authentically and just beautifully done! I absolutely adore the SNAP Agency team! They are such a delight, and just SO much fun, they always make me smile, and I wish I could spend a day hanging out with them in the fulcrum. In fact I wish I had my very own Kekoa to throw me handfuls of chocolate when I’m upset and wrap me in breath-stealing hugs when I’m having a bad day! *sigh* One of my favorite TV shows is NCIS: Los Angeles, and the SNAP team gives me major NCIS: LA vibes! The ensemble cast of quirky characters, the witty banter, the suspenseful action, the international intrigue, the team of friends that are more like family! If you like NCIS: LA you’re gonna LOVE the SNAP Agency series! I absolutely loved every minute I spent reading Blind Trust, and I most highly recommend it! My only complaint is that it ended too soon, I was so sad to say goodbye to these beloved characters! I could totally read a new book about these characters every year! Seriously, this series could continue on forever, and I’D NEVER GET TIRED OF READING ABOUT THIS TEAM!!!!! If you haven’t read this series yet then what have you been doing with your life?! The novels themselves stand alone, but I would say make sure you read Initium, the prequel novella BEFORE Blind Trust, otherwise Blind Trust will spoil the novella for you! But Initium is a super quick read and it is FANTASTIC! The point is: READ THIS SERIES! You can thank me later! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. My review was not influenced in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
