I bought this a month ago, & have been using it due to the weather warming up & being exposed to the sun more now. But, the flavor is truly terrible. The ingredients just say "flavor".

It tastes like sunscreen, but if you can handle that, hopefully it protects your lips from the sun. I haven’t tried it out in the sun yet, so who knows??

Blistex five star lip balm is the only lip balm that I have used for the past 10+ years! I have introduced several of my family members and friends to this amazing product and they are all hooked and continue to rave about this lip balm. I find that blistex five star lip balm does a great job of hydrating the lip when they are already dry or cracked without leaving you desperate for reapplication. It's goes on really smoothly and stays smooth without having a waxy feel. it offers excellent protection form the sun and truly lasts well during water, like swimming or surfing, and snow sports, like downhill skiing/ snowboarding! Overall I cannot say enough positive this about this product and strongly recommend!

I been using ballistics for ever since it came out I always use the one in the two and then I found the five star and I love it it works so good but it's really hard to find in all the stores so now I see it here and I can order it online but I wish you would put it in more stores I love it it's fantastic it makes you look feel normal. This is a great product I thank you and my lips thank you.

Blistex Five Star sound great, keep your lips moisturized and protected from the sun. Great idea but not for me as a person who does drinks a lot of water, I become dehydrated and this Blistex let me down by not keeping my lips moisturized. The 30spf sunscreen did protect my lips from the sun. I will and would not recommend this product to anyone.

Year round essential! This is one product that I am never without. The balm is smooth and protective but doesn't feel tacky. My lips are sensitive, and this doesn't burn or seem to irritated my lips. I also end up buying extra for the family, so my chapstick doesn't disappear. Blistex Five Star

This lip balm did not impress me at all! For one it dried up my lips so fast it was unbelievable for this brand of cheap stick but I can say it did not dry up my lips as fast as some chap sticks I have tried. Thr price is super expensive. I would not recommend this product!

Sorry but the name is misleading. This lip balm does protect your lips with the SPF and I didn’t experience any chapping/burning of my lips during summertime (which tends to happen to me because when I’m outside for hours at a time I forget to reapply sunscreen). Unfortunately, it does so without being moisturizing at all so I did have general dryness more so than usual. Not enough to cause peeling of my lips, but enough that it was annoying and I ended up finishing this tube fairly quickly. Wouldn’t repurchase or recommend.

This is definitely my favorite chapstick it has spf in it which is great smells really good too!! It doesn’t leave my lips super dry and actually hydrates it unlike other chapsticks.

It is okay - I much rather prefer the Blistex Deep Hydration than the five star protection. The scent is a little odd. I love that it does have SPF 30, which is perfect for the Summer.
