Perfect snack for the summer that can cool you down, but won't lead to over-indulgence (like accidentally finishing an entire ice cream pint). Also great if you have children too!

I usually read the box and avoid anything labeled as "frozen dessert" rather than ice cream since the difference in flavor and texture is very noticeable. I forgot to do that with these they were so expensive and I assumed they would be made with real ice cream. Nope. The outside is also the cheap, bland chocolate "flavored" coating most companies use these to make their products even cheaper to produce while charging the same price for. These weren't awful, but I expected more for $5. Especially since Blue Bell's ice cream sandwiches are actually very good. Personally, I'd rather get fewer bars made with better ingredients. for the same price.
