Q: The utility knife does not operate as described. I need more specific instructions than 'apply pressure to the back of the handle' or 'spin between the two scews' spin what ? which screws?

Q: I bought this knife. The knife is in the open position as packaged. It works great, buy I cannot figure out how to fold it. Is there a button to depress or what? No you tube video that I can find. Thanks.

A: To retract the blade carefully apply pressure to the back of the handle or spin between the two screws. Guide blade slowly into the liner.

A: To open the knife, you may simply pull the blade holder piece out until it clicks into place. To change the blade, you must push the little side button on the blade holder that has the ridges and pull out the blade.

Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Cheaply made! Button to release the blade is too close to your thumb while working. Could accidentally trip blade release while working. I had no problem with that since the blade release didn't work. Had to take the knife apart to change blades. Took it back the next day.

Dangerous design causes the blade to release and fly out at worst times. Not something you want to happen when working with sharp blades. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the blade release where you put your thumb for leverage obviously did not think it through and now I have a list blade somewhere in my home.

i wouldn't buy it again. its impossible to fold & it seems that i'm not the only one that's had this problem. if you want a folding knife, this def isn't the one for you.

The button to release the blade is directly under where you would place your thumb on the knife. Multiple times the blade fell out almost cutting me. Go out of your way and spend a few more dollars at a hardware store to get a product that was actually built with safety and strength in mind.

Blade won't stay in holder/out of stock on most knives

The blade is ok for the price (flimsy). There is a tiny black plastic blade protector that (I think) is intended to keep from getting cut. It's so small that I've lost it. Folding the blade is no problem. The little mechanism which releases the blade for changing is too close to the place where I put my hands and that's the way I hold it comfortably. Targets selection was really bad, so I settled on this. It works ok and it was cheap, so I am going to use it for a while. I would not recommend.

Yes you can find the knife. Push in on the metal part at the bottom right and it’ll go down. I personally like the knife but the blade is a little flimsy.

Even though it states it is a folding utility knife we could not get either knife to fold. No directions on the package and we tried everything to get it to fold.

Yikes! We lost our old retractable box cutter and I have a home business and I need to cut all these boxes around! Anyway, this was the only one they had at target and I tried it this evening. Yes it cuts, but it’s flimsy as others mentioned - but it’s also extremely unsafe. There is no way to retract the blade and you can flip it closed - with the blade open. Yikes. And this is hard to do. I can already see a disastrous cut waiting to happen. No thanks! It’s going back tomorrow.
