submitted by homeowner - 2 months ago
  • A: Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for your question! You can change the blade by following the steps below: 1) Insert a small slotted screw driver into the spindle slot, on the side of the blade that faces away from you when holding naturally. 2) Rotate front facing blade screw counter-clockwise with a slot tip screwdriver and remove the blade screw. 3) Slide the blade away from the upper guard and remove blade. 4) Slide new blade under the upper guard with beveled edges facing you. 5) Align hole in blade with hole in the blade shaft, replace screw and securely tighten the blade screw clockwise. Q: Hi can this rotary cutter cut thin acrylic sheets?

submitted by Mecca - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello Mecca! Yes the tool should be able to cut through thin acrylic sheets, as thin acrylic sheets are best handled with a handheld rotary tool. But thick acrylic slabs are best handled by scoring, and intermediate acrylic sheets are best handled with a scroll saw. Thank you for choosing Blue Ridge!
