It is indeed very, very pink - not even pale pink. But if you like (or don't mind) pink, it's a very pretty blanket. Like all the sherpa throws, it is extremely soft and very warm. From experience with other blankets like this, it does stand up to being machine washed and dried very well, but the sherpa side will lose softness after about a year.

This blanket is pink and blue not white and blue. Still a comfortable blanket but, definitely not white, very pink.
