The book is great—a childhood favorite. But it was delivered in cardboard and sat in the pouring rain for hours so the books got warped. They should be delivered in some sort of waterproof plastic inside the cardboard or other. I would like to get them replaced as they are find to be gifts.

Blueberries for Sal s a delightful book that has become a cherished favorite in our household, and I can't recommend it enough to fellow parents. It's the kind of story that resonates with both children and adults, making it a perfect addition to any family's library. One of the things that makes Blueberries for Sal so special is its timeless charm. From the moment we opened the book, my two-year-old son was captivated by the beautiful illustrations and engaging storyline. McCloskey's artwork is enchanting, drawing readers into the lush landscapes of Maine and the adorable antics of little Sal and her mother. But beyond the gorgeous illustrations, Blueberries for Sal also has a heartwarming message about curiosity, adventure, and the simple joys of childhood. As we followed Sal and her mother on their blueberry-picking expedition, my son couldn't help but be swept away by the sense of wonder and discovery that permeates the story. What truly sets Blueberries for Sal apart, though, is its universal appeal. It's the kind of book that transcends age barriers, resonating with readers of all generations. As a parent, I appreciate the timeless themes and gentle lessons that are woven throughout the narrative. In conclusion, if you're looking for a charming and beautifully illustrated book to share with your little one, Blueberries for Sal is an excellent choice. It's a heartwarming tale that celebrates the magic of childhood and the beauty of the natural world, making it a perfect addition to any family's reading rotation.
