These were recommended to me by a teacher friend of mine whose kindergarten age daughter was reading wonderfully. When I asked her where to start to get my daughter to that level, this is what she suggested. These are so great. They give her such confidence too. She was able to read a whole book by herself with just some simple sounds. Highly recommend.

The books themselves are nice, but they are much smaller than the Bob books you can get in the store. When I asked about it, an in store employee said “some of our items online come from different distributors, than our in store items”. Good product, just smaller

Last year I purchased another set of beginning reader books for my son who is now in kindergarten. After quite some time we never got past the first book because it was not truly for beginning readers. Fast forward to our first week with this set and we are already onto the second book! These books are great for building confidence in early readers and helping them to sound out words.

Bob books are great for kids learning how to read. However, the ones sold at Target are much smaller than the ones sold elsewhere. If I had seen these in store, I wouldn’t purchase because of the smaller size (and they are the same price as the larger books). The book is about an inch smaller than the box (see photo). Other photo compares the sizes.
