Boie USA Manual Toothbrush

Wanted to love it! But the head kept popping off the handle while I was brushing and it drove me nuts. Faulty handle maybe? I didn’t want to risk trying another one.

I am a long time user of BOIE silicone toothbrushes. I love that the entire thing is made of silicone, the bristles are soft and smooth, and the head of the toothbrush is replaceable. The whole toothbrush can be recycled. I have reactions to the plastic and nylon in ordinary toothbrushes, so I hope Target continues to carry these.

It's a unique brushing experience but the results are fantastic!

Great concept, nice to use one time then the bristles get so bent and warped you can’t use it again.

it might look weird being flat but feels so comfortable in your hand when you brush and on your teeth

I liked using the Bio USA tooth brush. I didn't notice a difference in cleaning power between this tooth brush and the ones I'd get from the store. However, the Bio brush was gentler on my teeth/gums so that was good. The only down side was cleaning the brush could get a little annoying. I liked that the head was removable but I would prefer not having to remove the head to get the brush completely clean. Still, the brush is fairly easy to clean, inconveniences aside.

I really wanted to like this toothbrush since I'm a germaphobe and hate creating waste. But after a month, my teeth look and feel worse than ever. Unfortunately, the bristles are too soft/flexible that they just give way and do not clean anything. The first time I used it with my gel toothpaste, all the gel got stuck at the bottom of the bristles and won't come off. It doesn't get into the nooks and crannies between teeth or along the gum line nor does any good on the tongue. And if you have a hard time getting to the side of your back teeth, this brush will not cut it. I'm out of my return window so I will only be using this to freshen up after coffee.

Ordered and wanted to like it, but it just doesn't do a good job cleaning your mouth. The bristles aren't robust and don't clean your teeth as well as other top brands.

Loved the original toothbrushes you made a few years ago. The one I received this order had a smaller head and no structure to the bristles. Was going to return it but never got around to it. Would buy again if the toothbrushes were like the old ones but not these

The tooth brush works great but the tip has a hard time staying put when brushing. I got one for my boyfriend and because of this, the tip pinches his mustache and rips hairs out when he's brushing :/ I personally like it but if you have facial hair, be aware of that.

I liked the idea of this toothbrush and the way it looked but every time I brushed I was left with that fuzzy teeth feeling and they never felt clean. I'm probably not a great brusher but I would not buy again.

I really like the idea of this product. The only downside I am experiencing is that the back of the brush head is getting damaged from the water that gets underneath when brushing - the material is turning into this bubble (kind of like what happens on a wall with water damage). I started taking the brush head off after brushing and rinsing it under water bending it back and forth and then I dry the handle and put the brush head on a smidge so it has room to dry. Kind of a hassle, not the end of the world. It would be nice if the brand shared any information on this or tips to deal with it.

I like this product a lot, and am a fan of Boie products in general! My only complaint was that the bristles seemed to flatten a lot, but it also could be because I brush too hard or because I purchased the soft bristles instead of the regular. Overall would recommend this product!

The toothbrush is very nice to hold, the brushes are gentle, but the brush head seems to flatten quickly.

I wouldn't really consider this toothbrush for daily use. its extremely soft and doesnt really feel like youre brushing your teeth

I love my new brush. It helps me so much with the sensory experience of brushing my teeth.

I think this fine toothbrush head is slightly more abrasive on my gums than the regular Boie toothbrush. Still, the small size makes it super maneuverable around the back of my molars. Feels like a nice massage, but I personally prefer the regular brush better.

I'll be honest, the toothbrush was really weird at first. Since the bristles are made of the soft silicone material, they seemed to squeak against my teeth and it felt pretty strange. I also decided to flip the brush on the stick because it felt a bit unnatural to hold, but that completely fixed that problem (I don't know if they just put it on backwards or if my hands are just weird, but it was an easy fix either way). However, after giving it a few more tries I've gotten used to the different feel and the squeaky-ness has gone away. I've now been using it for about a month and there's no notable difference between the level of dental hygiene performance compared to my old regular brush (except maybe my gums are cleaner because I trust the soft bristles not to hurt them). The toothbrush itself feels easier to clean and that makes me feel better about putting it in my mouth as well. The toothpaste rinses out of the bristles easily so you don't have that gross build up that you get on regular brushes. Overall, don't expect anything absolutely amazing, it really is just a toothbrush and can take some getting used to feel-wise. But the fact that it's 100% recyclable and you can replace the heads instead of having to get a whole new toothbrush makes it worth it to me (plus the minimalist design looks hella cool).
