Nice pattern and easy to clean!

It is perfectly good at what it is supposed to do! But my baby likes to throw, so he makes messes outside of the circle!

As other reviewers have noted, this plastic mat is disappointingly thin. It does a good job of keeping the floor clean, but is super slippery (even with the table legs on it to keep it in place, our kiddo used to slip on it every time she walked by) and over time with a chair shifting on top of it each meal, it rips. We are still using ours because it serves an indispensable function and does the job, but it's now covered in tape to keep it together.

The SplatMat serves its purpose— to protect the floor from food and liquid spills, but it is thin and does not stick to the floor, so when you walk on/ next to it, it picks up off the floor. I could have used a plastic sheet on the floor to serve the same purpose. The pattern is nice, and the size is great, but it would have been better if there was rubber on the bottom to grip the floor better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this splat mat to put under my toddler’s craft table. It has a weird smell upon opening but goes away quickly. It’s just about the right size and it works great at keeping messes off the floor. We use clay dough often and this keeps my carpet underneath from getting crusty little balls stuck to the floor. My only complaint is the pattern. It looks like a swirly marble and it could stand to be a little trendier to make a cuter play space.

My son LOVES to throw everything on the floor from his highchair, which makes it hard to enjoy meals when you know you have to clean everything up and your floor is going to be sticky. Now I just have a quick wipe of the mat and move on. It's also understated and beautiful. I love that it's not some bright color on my floor.

However, with this mat, I can lay it on our hardwood floors and it fits both of them, comfortably, with enough space for whatever project they do. And it wipes up very easily!

The plastic is very pliable and wiped up easily. The marble swirl pattern is neutral enough to go with any decor. Easy to use and clean.

And sure enough! It’s super compact and very thin allowing it to be compactly folded into a small portable travel friendly packet. It’s thin enough to be folded but thick enough to be a decent quality. I love taking this to Airbnb stays because they eliminate the need to get on the knees and clean every two seconds. They also keep the carpets and rugs clean Of any snacks your tiny toddlers may throw at them. This makes for a perfect gift in a welcome baby gift bag as well! The material is similar to the thicker kinds of plastic tablecloth covers they sell. The shape is round. It is phthalate free but I do wish it was bpa free as well

I just leave it under his high chair during meal times, and shake it off outside when he’s done! No more crumbs flying everywhere and now the broom can sit in the corner for more than five minutes. I love how easy it is to clean with a cloth, and the style looks very nice as opposed to the plastic white ones I’ve bought before. Love that these are reusable and can’t wait to try it during our next art project!

But when she is in her chair I put it under it. The splat mat is awesome she likes to just sit on it and play it's easy to clean up. We let her color in her coloring book on it definitely a life saver.

You simply unfold it and put it under the highchair (or kitchen chair) now watch as it helps protect your floor from all the food your child is going to either drop or throw. We can also use it to keep kid on it when playing with paint or anything else. Once it is no longer needed, simply wipe it down and fold it up until needed again.

In my home, I have the original wood floor refinished, so I try to protect them from scratches or spills. So this is perfect for that purpose as it’s just easy to wipe off. Then, you can fold it and store it, but i decided to keep it like that. I think it’s really easy to travel with since it’s not so big.
