Description

With a fresh, modern look inspired by deliciously textured lemons, limes, and grapefruits, BooginHead’s NEW PaciGrip Silicone Citrus Pacifier Clips are a bright, refreshing, hard-working accessory to your teething baby’s favorite pacifier. Stylish single-molded silicone straps pull double duty as a pacifier holder AND a teether! PaciGrip Citrus pacifier clips are slender, lightweight, smooth against baby’s delicate skin, and are incredibly strong and safe to use with newborns. Keep pacifiers close and clean and soothe teething pain with stylish citrus-inspired pacifier clips that channel the happy, warm energy of freshness and sunshine.

BooginHead’s PaciGrip was the first pacifier clip to market with a universal loop by which to attach any pacifier of choice. When we realized babies were relieving gum pain by chewing on PaciGrip straps (which were the closest thing they could grab), BooginHead introduced PaciGrip Silicone, a food-grade silicone strap safe for teething babies to chew. All BooginHead products are mom-invented and safety-tested to ensure the highest degree of quality and safety.

Too stiff for younger babies, not compatible with all pacifiers

2 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Syd - 1 year ago
The silicone is too stiff, so it pulls the pacifier out of my baby’s mouth (2 months). The part that connects to the pacifier is also pretty thick, so it won’t work with one that has a small hole (like the Phillip’s), and it gets in the way of ones that fit really close to the mouth (like the Tommee Tippee). I haven’t had issues with rusting like others mentioned, and the silicone does clean well.

Pros: easy to clean, super cute, strong clip Cons: super awkward for baby as it kind of pulls the paci out of his mouth and is bulky.

Stiff

3 out of 5 stars
Newborn - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
It’s very cute and easy to clean, however, the silicone is too stiff where it attaches to the pacifier and my newborn couldn’t keep it in her mouth while it was clipped to clothing. Had to switch out for a pacifier with a less stiff loop.

Clip started rust after a few uses.

Hi Sc! So sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience. The clip should be kept away from water and moisture. Can we send you a replacement that will better fit your needs? Please email us info@booginhead.com so we can take care of you. Thanks! - Jacky at BooginHead

I’ve had this for my baby for a long time. She’s 20 months now and she was walking and fell and the stainless steel clip sliced through her chin! Such a deep gash! Blood was all over her! Why even make stainless steel clips for babies that’s so sharp! I never would have even thought of this being a hazard, but it is!! Only buy silicone!!

This one got rusty fairly quickly.
1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 2 years ago
oh no! That shouldn't have happened. Can we replace it for you? If you're no longer interested in a BooginHead clip we have many pacifier holder options that are clip-free, like our pacifier holder bibs or teether blankets. Please email us info@booginhead.com so we can take care of you. Thank you - Jacky at BooginHead

This could have been great but the loop that attaches to the pacifier is too thick—my little one didn’t want her Philips Avent paci because the loop got in the way of proper attachment.
1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 2 years ago
Thank you for letting us know about your experience! Is it the Philips Avent Soothie? We've played with this pacifier and pacifier clip combination a bit on our TikTok channel, and have found the MAM adapter, used in reverse, does work with the Soothie tab, but that's just another thing to have to buy. Can we make it up to you? Would be happy to replace your pacifier clip with a teether or bib. Please contact us at info@booginhead.com so we can take care of you. Oh no, so sorry to hear that! We actually founded our entire TikTok channel on answering this very question about this very product - would love to know which pacifier you're using so we can continue to improve. Can we replace your item with something else, maybe a fabric strap pacifier clip or a teether bib? Please contact us at info@booginhead.com so we can take care of you. -Jacky at BooginHead

Not a fan of the silicone one because it does not stay flat like the fabric ones. It also came loose around the pacifier and falls out of my little one’s mouth pretty easily. Definitely going to stick to their classic fabric ones.
1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 2 years ago
Well, I'm happy you like the classic fabric strap! I'd love to send you one in replacement for the silicone strap that is not working for you. Please contact us info@booginhead.com so we can make it right. Thanks! -Jacky at BooginHead

Beware of it getting caught and hitting your baby like a rubber band.

Lawyer Mom - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
It works. But be careful. It is somewhat stretchy so if it gets caught on your baby’s walker or car seat it could snap and catch them in the face. I like the idea. But I think I am going to stick to fabric options. Ours broke after around 3-4 months of use.
1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 2 years ago
Hi Lawyer Mom, did it get caught and snap on somebody? I hope not! We'd be happy to replace your pacifier clip with something you'll love. We have many fabric options. Please email us info@booginhead.com so we can make it right. For baby products that are used daily, it is recommended to replace after 4-6 weeks. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks! -Jacky at BooginHead

Alyson - 2 years ago
Too heavy and stiff, hate the silicon material, everything sticks to it. The loop where you attach it to the paci makes it hard for baby to hold paci in mouth. The silicon isn’t very flexible and makes paci stay at an odd angle

Not sure what’s up with all the bad reviews. I have not had one single issue with rust or heaviness. I think the clip is far superior than itsy ritzy. It’s held up with daily use and is very well made. It’s my favorite clip. I wish it came in more colors. I highly recommend. My 5mo loves to chew on it and has no problem putting her bink in her mouth. Picture taken after 3 months of daily use. It still closes shut and stays shut!

It rusted after washing
1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 2 years ago
Hi chvlws, how was it washed? The clip is a nickel and lead free metal alloy, super strong, but it can oxidize when exposed to moisture. We recommend keeping the clip out of water and away from moisture, spot cleaning the strap with mild soap and water when needed. Rust is rare, and in instances of rust we would like to send you a pre-paid envelope to ship the piece back to us so we can investigate the problem. Can we replace your item? We have many baby pacifier holders that don't use a clip, like our PaciPlush, Teether Blankets, and PaciGrip Bibs. Please email us info@booginhead.com so we can make it right. Thank you! 1 reply from BooginHead Team team - 3 years ago
Hi Pinkypinkyy, thank you for letting us know. We always make it right with our customers and would love the opportunity to replace your product with something you're going to love. Care instructions on the clip read: hand wash, lay flat to dry, keep clip out of water and away from moisture. Rusting is very rare, and when we hear about rust we like to inspect the piece. Usually we send a pre-paid shipping envelope to our customers to return the piece for us to investigate the problem! Please email info@booginhead.com so we can take care of you. I like this clip because it doubles as a teether. I mainly use it to keep her pacifier attached to the car seat strap. It is a little heavy, but durable and easily cleaned. I opted for a Bibs pacifier because it’s lighter weight. I have had no issues with rust or the clip breaking with daily use. We have been using it for 6 months. I would order again.
