  • A: What is the scoop (so to speak) with this litter? I also cannot find it and it is no longer avail to ship. I noticed the package had changed recently. What is the ETA?

submitted byAmyt - 2 years ago
  • A: please restock this is the best litter I have tried.

submitted bytargetshopper - 2 years ago
  • A: Substitute litter is terrible. it's dusty, dark color shows up more, does NOT clump, leaves crumbly pieces in the litter box so it gets smelly quicker. Fortunately, my cat doesn't care, but I do!!

  • A: Please please please restock this litter!

    submitted byJamye C - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, please restock this.

submitted byMichele - 2 years ago
  • A: Please restock this litter. I works great in our litter robot as well as our stationary litter box. It's the best litter we've used!

Q: What are the exact ingredients in this product?

submitted by L - 6 years ago
  • A: Hi L - Thanks for your interest in the Up & Up™ kitty litter. It contains all safe ingredients: natural ground clay and proprietary additives for odor control and clumping. Hope your kitty likes it! - Melissa

  • A: "proprietary additives" is NOT an answer, and the so-called "safety" is therefore highly suspect. The main ingredient likely used here is sodium bentonite, which can pose grave health risks to cats due to ingestion. I may discontinue use of this litter, as my cat sometimes licks the litter from her paws, and had a recent vet visit due to constipation (which led to vomiting, which led to dehydration, which led to bad kidney values). Both I and the vet think this litter is the root cause, and I'm in the process of finding an alternative (perhaps Purina Yesterday's News). I don't like companies that hide facts behind BS like "proprietary". My cat's health isn't worth the puny cost savings. Unacceptable. Inexcusable.

Q: Did the formula for this product recently change? In my most recent purchase, the color and texture seems different...

submitted by pzinser - 6 years ago
  • A: It did, unfortunately. The new formula is dusty, doesn't clump as well, and looks dirty. Target, please bring back the old formula! The original unscented was perfect.

  • A: please contact us for further discussion.
