Q: It says the base of table is gold. Is this brass? Is this a metal painted with gold paint? Will the gold chip over time?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This is absolutely beautiful. The marble is white with gold and silver , so classic & such a statement piece. Brass frame, super easy to assemble, just screw on the legs, takes no time. The marble is incredibly heavy and a solid thickness. You will definitely need 2 people for that part. Overall , I honestly couldn't be happier, and the only suggestion I'd even have is to offer the frame in different finishes. The brass works, but I think a nickel or even a matte black matte option would be stunning also. It's very worth it ... This piece will last a lifetime, or certainly as long as you want it to.

The gold finishes bring the table together. Could fit perfectly in a small sitting room or living area between two couches. Excellent quality.

It is one of the easiest and fastest tables I’ve put together and I was shocked at the weight and beauty of the marble! The golden legs and accents under the table are such a beautiful design and color. We plan to decorate our house around this coffee table, for sure! I expect this to be a staple piece in our house for years to come!

I really love this marble coffee table! The first one I received, the marble had a crack in it. That was very disappointing but target remedied it very quickly. I bought the coffee table on sale and I am thrilled with my purchase. It was extremely easy to assemble, which I had to do twice, lol. I highly recommend this coffee table.
