IThe description online says 100 wattage but the tag on the lamp I received says a maximum of 40watts. I need a brighter light so I will have to return. If that is not a problem for you, it is a nice lamp.

I can't tell you how much I love these lamps! I ordered two of them, one for each side of my upright piano. I decided one was better, and am using the second one in another area of the living room. They are beautiful, substantial (which means my kids won't knock them over), and provide a nice light. They were easy to set up. I just love the color, they work nicely. Highly recommend.

NOT A PULL CHAIN LAMP AS DESCRIBED! Nice lamp all around, but we bought it for the pull chain and one shade was creased. Comes from third party vendor with no adjustments. Disappointing.
