I had bought a comparable headphone last year, but my wolf chewed them to bits, so I decided to give these a try this year. Hopefully they fare better against wolf teeth than the last ones. (Only time will tell) Overall, they were easy to use and connected to my phone right out of the box. I did download the app which was easy to do as well. They are comfortable, and the sound is great. The only downfall is I can still hear the outside world when the noise cancel is selected, but I was alive when noise cancel wasn't a thing, so it's not a huge draw back, just a little bit of one. They stay on my head very well and are a great weight. Keep your fingers crossed that these don't end up like my last pair, or if so they fare far better than the last ones. (Or at least that I catch her before total annihilation.)

I bought these because I was dreading going back to the office full-time. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the money but I took a chance because I knew I could return them during the trial period. These headphones have been a game-changer for me. The noise-cancelling works to block out all the conversations around me so I can focus on my work. I used an adapter to connect my ancient iPod and the music is clear and crisp. I’m beyond happy with this purchase - and I don’t mind being in the office because I can easily stay in my own, quiet world.

The only thing good about this earphone is the sound quality and the grip (which is on the stronger side). I have had problems with the multipoint connection (had to turn off bluetooth in the notebook for it to work on the phone) and the worst, worst part is the microphone during calls. Other people on the call would say my microphone was glitching, or cutting all the time, even though I work in a quite environment. It is very unfortunate because I always loved Bose products and was anxiously waiting for a new improved version of the Quiet Comforts. This is not it guys, just don't buy it now, wait for improvement or go to an alternative.

Look, I'm no shill, but I went from the sony xm4s to the qc ultra and the experience is much more refined. The sound is classic Bose, very crisp and balanced. But you've always got the eq if you wanna cosplay the headphones as beats by dre. The noise cancellation is nothing less than incredible. I mean I know that's their whole shtick, but the first time you use quiet mode, it blows other over ear and headphones out of the water. The only downside is that they're not the most secure headphones. In fairness I'm not a runner, so this doesn't bother me at all. But obviously they've traded grip for comfort. I'd take the same trade imo, but that's me. For the average user who values great anc, these are the holy grail.

I thought I was a die hard cabled headphone user. I’ve tried all sorts of DACs and amps and wired headphones and always felt I could do better. Imagine my surprise when I tried these and they blew me away with a convincing sound stage and lovely sound. Add to that no trailing cable and ANC. I’m a convert!

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are very comfortable and crystal clear. I bought the headphones because I work in a noisy environment and I need to be able to hear and understand what is being said while on the telephone. On top of that I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. So I wear the headphones over my hearing aids and it's not a problem. I do not get any interference between the two devices and they actually work well together. I am now able to filter out the noisy background and clearly hear what is being said over the phone and to my surprise the person I'm talking to can clearly hear me! SUPER AWESOME HEADPHONES!

I work in cubicle city, so focusing at work was difficult. I count these headphones among the best purchases I have ever made. When I have them on and playing white noise, I hear nothing going on around me-- almost like I am in my own private office.

The noise cancellation on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is disappointing because there is virtually no difference from the Bose QuietComfort headphones. They also have less buttons than the Bose QuietComfort. In my opinion I prefer the Bose QuietComfort because I like the build better but the bigger issue is the noise cancellation because that was why I bought them.
