I decided to try the at-home laser treatment. I was a bit Spectacle at first but finally gave in. The process is pretty simple and the results are long-lasting it was no pain easy to use and the results are amazing.

I don’t like shaving at all, so I’ve spent a lot of money on wax removal, laser hair removal and a variety of razors, on the market. I’ve read so many reviews for this IPL device from Braun, so I was very excited for the opportunity to test it out. They have created several options, based on your skin tone, to choose from. for I’ve been using mine, PL3221, little over a month now and I absolutely love this. I love that it isn’t as painful as laser or wax removal. I also don’t have to worry about ingrown hairs or rashes afterwards. I haven’t noticed a huge difference, because it takes a couple of months for optimal results. I would definitely recommend this IPL device to all of my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this hair remover and it did not disappoint!!!! I have struggled with excess hair for years ! I pluck my face daily and have to wax my upper lip about every week or so. I have light skin but dark sometimes thick hair. Given my personal struggle with hair removal I was hesitant to get excited by this product until I had seen results. So far I have used it about 4 weeks(once a week) and have noticed more of a difference on my chin than my upper lip or sides of my face. But the hairs have so far seemed to come in thinner and are easier to remove. I have also used it on the tops on my feet and have noticed a difference in those areas. The tool is easy to hold and easy to switch out the attachment’s depending on which areas are being done (precision, standard, or wide). It is quick to use - taking less time than waxing or going somewhere for laser removal or to be waxed. There is a sensor on both sides that tell you when it is ready to use and when it it properly in contact with your skin. It also has a “sensitive” feature for more sensitive areas or when using it for the first time. It isn’t painful at all, which was a nice surprise because I expected it to be uncomfortable. The only downfall is that it is tough to tell which area you used it on as you go along because you can’t really tell where it lines up to exactly. Overall not a big deal, just means I go over some areas twice if it overlaps.

This product is ready to use right out of the box and comes with detailed instructions. The instructions state, to use it once a week for 12 weeks to get full results, but I am definitely already seeing improvement after a couple of uses. My hair is coming in lighter and growing back slower, I can't wait to see the end result. Treatment is not painful, but it does get really warm and stings a little bit. The storage case fits all parts nicely and secure and the extra long power cord is definitely a plus!

In comparison, the Braun IPL laser hair removal system is the exact product to bring this high end treatment home for a much lower cost and bigger value. There are 3 different attachments included so that you can customize for the area you are treating. The guide included in the package suggests treating a small area as a test, and then treating once a week for 4-6 weeks. It is imperative you use the skin tone and body hair chart on the packaging to determine if you are a good candidate for this safe, effective treatment. In my experience, it hurt way less than I experienced in the professional setting, and I got to do it myself in the comfort of my own home. Stopping when I needed to, and resuming. I wouldn’t suggest any sun exposure for a couple days after treatment, so winter is the best time to handle the hair! The German design ensures you get a well made, quality instrument for such an important task. It is so effective, I won’t need it much longer!

In the past, I've shaved my legs and used waxing strips to remove hair from by armpits and bikini line. This hair removal system takes a fraction of the time without the sticky mess or the pain of waxing strips. I have used this system once a week for 3 weeks and it takes me less than 5 minutes to use the system on my armpits, bikini line and legs. So far, I've noticed a significant reduction in the time it takes for stubble to appear (48 hours vs. 12) and in the amount of hair regrowth. The system produces a warm sensation on my skin but it is not at all painful. So far, I am very pleased with the results of the Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 IPL hair removal system and am excited to see the results after using it for the recommended full 12 weeks. After that, the instructions say that the treatment will only be needed once per month. I used it twice before I realized I wasn't doing it right. Nonetheless, it is working! I decided to treat only the right side of my legs & armpits so I could compare IPL to the shaved side. VERY IMPRESSED! I have no new hair growth and no more razor stubble! Comes with everything you need, even a disposable shaver to get you started. Fast and painless, some warmth is emitted from the device but nothing uncomfortable. I had no reactions after use.

My hair growth has significantly slowed down to the point that I can go an entire week without stubble. I can not wait to see those month long results that I am certain I will get from this. I was a little nervous my first time using it because it seemed so high tech and fancy but it’s super simple and the instructions leave no room for error. It really only takes about 10 minutes to treat everywhere. I couldn’t recommend this more it’s been such a game changer in my hair removing game. If I had to give it any criticism it would be that it came with a razor but not eye protection. I feel like how bright the light is can’t possibly be good for your eyes. I was so excited and hopeful that I would be able to rid some of my upper lip hair as it grows in dark and thick. Unfortunately, I am just not seeing results from using it. I make sure my face is clean, no sun/self tanner, and free of hair before I use it(following instructions just as they are) and I still do not see results. I am impressed with the quality of the product and the pain is very minimal if any which is great but also may be the strength is just too weak to provide results. I have been using it for about 4 weeks so maybe I just need to give it time and definitely am going to continue using it as directed and hopefully start seeing results.

I did some resear, read many reviews and got convinced that is the best way to get rid of hair. I had laser sessions done few years ago, but as we all know is not always permanent. I love the convenience of doing it myself, at home and as many times as I need it. Is cost effective as well, who doesn't love that. I had my first treatment done and it wasn't painful at all. There is still hair but I would say a good 75% less has grown back. What did grow back is definitely different too. It's much thinner. This device 100% works and exceeded my expectations. It's not painful like others I've tried either. The attachment heads are handy too and make precise removal in certain areas much more easier. Overall, a great device that I definitely recommend.

The Braun pro 3 really helped me, I was skeptical about the effectiveness of a at home hair removal product but to my surprise, after about 3 weeks I started to notice the hair was no growing back as thick as it used to and then I noticed it was taking longer to grow back. Its gentle on the skin and it automatically reads your skin tone. There are three levels of intensity and it can be used anywhere you dont want hair. I'm very happy I decided to give it a try.

It even came with a carrying case which is a nice addition to store the device. I can’t wait to see long term results with this tool. I used this on my legs and bikini line. The bikini line was a little sensitive even with the sensitive feature turned on, but it was not unbearable by any means.
