Bravado Designs Nursing Dress

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Nice fabric but the dress doesn’t fit so well if you have a bigger breast. I took the extra-large, wear a DD42 bra. The breast part fits perfectly but it’s so baggy on the lower part. Good for the house, not for going out.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’m a new mom and figuring out what I need during the night. I wanted something comfy and loose, natural fabric, clip down and quick to wash. This is all those and it has pockets! I bought a large even though I wear a medium in their bra’s because I just can’t handle anything being tight when I sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that Bravado non-nursing bras are my FAVORITE and I am a 36DD. I was really looking for a new/better nursing bra and was excited to try this but the quality and design was just not there. First, I've only washed this twice, on gentle cycle and air-dried and it's falling apart literally at the seams. Second, I was hoping this would be made from the sturdy material of the Sculpt Bra, just with the nursing clips, but this is such a light material it offers no support and is flimsy. For now I'll have to stick with my other brand nursing bras, but hopefully Bravado can make a comeback with this one in the future!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This dress has some areas for improvement - it’s too short overall and should be longer at the back in particular. For a company that makes bras, the top basically has no support -I need to wear it with a bra which seems to defeat the point. Otherwise it’s a basic cotton dress with pockets. I wouldn’t buy this again unless there was a major style overhaul. I’m 5’9” and usually a medium or large

The drop panel for nursing has no fabric behind it which is nice as it's one less piece of fabric to manage while nursing. I plan on wearing it to a wedding this summer.

Great for early post partum around the house, would be a good hospital outfit as well. I have the black and gifted the grey to my SIL. I'm hoping to also buy the dark pink!

I was looking for a nightgown that has a little more length and coverage than some (I wanted to be able to get up with my toddlers in the night without needing a robe); this dress is perfect. Super comfortable, and I’m so glad it’s going to work for my new baby for nursing in the night. Love the empire waist. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant, so the pockets pucker a bit because of my growing belly (I wish the skirt had more room for this stage), and the top is a thin fabric which shows everything and makes me want to wear a bra if anyone sees me in it. I wish it was a little thicker/able to hide more on the top, but— as a nightgown, overall, it’s super comfy, cute and functional. As a dress, I would never wear it in public. It’s pretty short and requires a bra to look appropriate, which is frustrating having to go through two layers for nursing, and I don’t like the look of bra straps showing when I’m wearing a dress. I knew this would be the case based on other reviews, which is why I ordered it as a nightgown.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought it for the hospital, in the house and (maybe) go for a little walk as it looks like a little summer dress also. The fabric is super soft. One negative point though.. i think the straps are a bit small, as i would have prefered them much longer. I’m 5.6, bought a M, and the straps are fully extented (needing maybe an extra 3cm each for my comfort).

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it did not work for me. The material on the top of the dress is really thin and in my opinion you would have to wear another bra underneath which defeats the purpose of this being a nursing dress. I did find the sizing was accurate for this item and I purchased my usual size Small.

Im sad to write this review as I love Bravado, including their other new nursing loungewear. I just don’t see how you could wear this out as my nipples are clearly visible (and I don’t have particularly large breasts or nipples). I’d have to wear another bra underneath, which defeats the purpose of the nursing clips. Feels like I now have an expensive pj.
