Bare Home's premium mattress protector was created to protect the life of your mattress while also ensuring that you still have a comfortable and quiet night's sleep. Our mattress protector has a breathable 100% waterproof membrane backing that will repel urine, perspiration, spills, and all other liquids to keep your mattress safe from stains. Elastic extends through the entire hem of the mattress cover and contours to fit mattresses up to 14 inches in depth. Made with a superior cotton rich terry cloth top to create soft comfortable protection for any type of mattress including innerspring, latex or memory foam. The mattress protector is also noiseless and will not change the feel of your mattress. Machine wash warm, dries quick on tumble dry low.

A: The waterproof mattress pad has a Premium TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) layer. The material used for waterproofing safeguards the mattress against water and is mostly made up of plastic. However, due to the plastic material, the heat from the body gets trapped, and may lead to sweating at night.

A: As noted in the listing for our Mattress Protector, the elastic extends through the entire hem of the mattress cover. This is not a Mattress Encasement with a zipper, but a Mattress Protector with a fully elastic hem.

You will be happy to know that our water proof mattress pad is made of a terry-like material so that it is quiet to sleep on, It doesn't have a plastic-ish finish that would make noise when you sleep or change positions at night. Soft but not waterproof. I still have to use an old synthetic Target mattress pad under it. But again, it is soft to sleep on. Will be glad when my grandson can stay dry at night so we can do less laundry, especially since this pad has to be dried on low. Fits well and stays on.

Was expecting more and upon arrival was dissappointed that they put more effort into the packaging (which is commendable; good design is great but zippered transparrant plastics (3 textiles/poly's fused together), highly varnished non-recyclable typo-story printed with metalic ink, and tightly packed within a machine mm of its life, god forbid you try to repackage and return it, you won't get far I tried). Then there is the source material itself a fitted waterproof mattress protector with two textures and an immediate crinkle to the touch that I would have avoided had the choice been on the shelf. Anyway basic product not worth the cost or the empty ethos about sustainability when I wouldn't get a whif of a flame next to any of this crap.

The mattress protector surface is part polyester, NOT 100% cotton; and the waterproof liner is PUL, NOT TPU! If you’re looking for a healthier and more non-toxic mattress protector, this is not it.

Bed is stained because it’s not fully waterproof. There must have been leakage on the side seam. The mattress didn’t get soaked but this looks horrible! Wish I had gotten a better one.

After being forced into the unexpected purchase, I wanted to make sure I protected the new bed with a mattress protector. I was leery of the waterproof protectors because I didn't want it to feel like I was sleeping on plastic. I must say I was very impressed by the Bare Home premium protector. I really can't feel it at all. It fit perfectly over my queen memory foam, and I haven't had any damage to my mattress since I placed it on my bed a few months ago. I recommend this product for all beds because you never know when the unexpected will happen.

It fits very well and it's made from quality material. We already spilled a drink all over bed and it worked very well. The mattress is still clean. This cover is easy to wash and dries fast.
