A: Our Weighted Blankets have either a Cotton exterior or a soft polyester Minky exterior. The inside consists of a layer of polyester fiber fill and sand-like glass beads. Each person has a different perfect temperature and any cover Sheet, Blanket, or Weighted Blanket will affect each person differently. The only way to know how hot this will make you is to try it; as Cotton is a natural fiber, this option would be the best choice if you are concerned about being too hot.

A: Do not use our Weighted Blanket on top of an electric blanket.

A: As each person will sleep better under different conditions, we cannot guarantee that this will be a good or a bad option for you. Please note, we have added to our Weighted Blankets; some have a Cotton cover and others have Minky cover (this is 100% polyester). Both have a polyester fiber filling as well as a glass bead filling to provide the weight to this Blanket.

A: Our weighted blankets are quilted. Our smaller pockets, reinforced stitching, and increased fiber filling keep your sand like glass beads from shifting and leaking.

A: We suggest purchasing a blanket that does not hang over the sides of the bed to prevent your blanket from slipping off while you sleep. Weighted blankets are meant to be sized for the person, not necessarily the bed; choose a blanket that is around 10% of your body weight, if you are in between sizes, round up. The 80"x87" weighted blanket should only be used for sharing.

A: Our Weighted Blanket has a 100% Cotton Covering; the inner filling is 100% polyester fiberfill and non-toxic sand-like glass beads.

A: Our weighted blankets are machine washable but we recommend checking the weight capacity on your washing machine before washing any weighted blanket. We suggest washing the blanket on gentle settings, hand wash, or dry clean. Hang to dry. Do not use bleach.
