Breyer's used to be one of my favorite brands.Not anymore. Hardly any cookie dough and it has a odd aftertaste, almost like fake coconut which just lingers. There are much better brands to chose from that are real ice cream. Complete waste of money, IMO.

I was craving cookie dough ice cream so bad and my brother picked this up from me. The first night I went to get a bowl of ice cream it was all vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips. Next bowl same thing and so on. There are no cookie dough chunks in this at all. Completely false advertising I’m disappointed.

This is the nastiest ice cream I've ever tasted. I was hesitant to buy this since I do not like Breyers ice cream in general but I thought I would give it a try since I got to use a coupon and it was cheaper than the other brands on sale. Big mistake 🤢 the ice cream tastes strange like they mixed it with spoiled milk! The cookie dough tastes very odd as well. I really wanted to like it and get a bang for my buck but I will never buy this brand again. The only good thing was that it was easy to scoop out of the container.

Expected chocolate chip cookie dough chunks like it advertises on the box but there wasn't a lick of cookie dough chunks throughout the entire carton!! How can you mess up that badly?? Will not be buying this brand again.

This tub of ice cream doesn’t have any cookie dough. Oddly, the internet is rife with people saying the same thing, and for years. What gives, Breyers? And when I say it doesn’t have any, I don’t mean there isn’t enough. I’m saying there isn’t even 1 morsel of it. It’s just vanilla with occasional chocolate “chips.”

I would give zero stars if I could. This was not cookie dough. It was vanilla bean ice cream. The tiny black flecks were buts of vanilla bean, not chocolate chips and there was no cookie dough in the entire container. Just vanilla ice cream. Looking at the other comments I believe something happened at the factory. They need a recall on the Cookie dough ice cream sold at Target stores and customers need refunds!

This is a great ice cream nothing is like it . Personally I do feel it has too many cookie doughs in it but if I choose any I choose this one. Others have not chunks and are just crumbled throughout and I rather have something more cookie dough.

First off, if I can give 0 stars… I would. I made 3 full cups of this ice cream and it was only 4 pieces of cookie dough in all the cups. There was only 1 piece of dough in the cup that I had. When I buy chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream I want cookie dough all in the ice cream not just a few pieces.

Always loved Breyers ice cream and I love cookie dough so really happy to see they had this flavor. Im now half way through and have yet to find any cookie dough. then when I found online I saw a lot of reviews stating the same. Why arent you listening to your reviews? Either add cookie dough or list this as chocolate chip. So disappointed. going to buy a roll of cookie dough!

Im very disappointed that I purchased this without realizing it's not ice cream....its a DAIRY DESSERT.....Couldn't take it back because I had to use it at a party......2 others bought breyers ice cream....but theirs said ICE CREAM on them.......there is a difference between the dairy dessert and ice cream........I suggest Breyers needs to make the words so they stand out.........

Despite claiming to be made with "chocolate chip cookie dough," there is very little to be found. Only halfway through did I finally find one cookie dough piece. You're better off buying vanilla ice cream and cookie dough separately, then combining the two.
