The good: the lights themselves are cool. With most other spoke-light designs the effect when rotating would create a thin light line, these are long so the effect given rotating on the wheel would be more visible(ex.create a circle on paper other lights would be seen as a pencil mark when rotating, these lights would be like a highlighter). The bad: the instructions for attaching the lights to the spokes are poor. You need to make sure all the lights are properly attached to the spokes and that the wires are not going to get caught or tangled in anything, the black rubbery thing is supposed to be used for holding the button in place otherwise there is a possibility of it falling off while riding and pretty much ruining the entire lights. Having a different hook design for the spoke might improve the quality and make it last longer. They are worth it if you take the time to make sure all lights and button is securly attached and as an extra safety measure use clear tape to further secure everything

LIKES: My daughter loves the colors and brightness. They also change color! She gets a lot of compliments on our nighttime bike rides. Perfect for safety, you can even see them with street lights on! **It DOES have to be dusk before they are noticeable when turned on. They blend in pretty well with her bike spokes and are not noticeable during the day- unless you’re really looking for them, of course. The lights are also very tight fitting and it takes a bit of pressure to snap them on to the spokes or reposition them if you need to adjust the placement. I also like that the lights have on/off buttons rather than being motion activated, so you’re not draining the batteries during the day when the lights can’t be enjoyed. If possible, lay them out and test them before putting them on the bike, to make sure they work. The pics below were taken during the day and indoors, as you can imagine they are MUCH brighter at night. ******************* DISLIKES- they were pretty tricky to put on. It took me about 45 mins, but I was also very careful that the wires did not interfere with the wheel or brakes. They DEFINITELY need better instructions, perhaps even suggestions of where to start on each wheel (depending on the tire size). It looks really cool in the video, but the majority of my times was spent trying to figure out placement.

Purchased these for Easter Gift baskets for grandkids. Went to put them on the bikes this past weekend and the wires were pulled out so they did not work. Very cheaply made. I will be returning them.
