Smart Tech adds to the excitement; the tunnel and workshop communicate with the Smart Tech Engine, animating the play with movement, lights and sound. When the train passes through the Workshop Action Arch, the Smart Tech Engine begins to sound and act broken, slowly rolling to the workshop for repair. As it stops above the repairman's pit, the child can then use the mechanic character to repair the engine. Once fixed, the train begins rolling again and continues its journey through the BRIO World.
