BRITE Gray Hair Toner Color Touch Up System - 3.38 fl oz

I have very long gray hair, and I bought this product to brighten the white and get rid of the yellow. However, it is permanent, and darkened the lightest parts of my hair so now instead of having natural hair I am growing out this toner:(

Works great on my hair. I have well water and it restores my blonde coloring from yellow. Don’t have to soak hair, a little does the work.

Pros: This product did what it claimed to do, sort of. It definitely brought out my natural grays. However, I had some gray highlights I hadn’t been able to get touched up and was looking for something to counteract the yellow that they were developing between salon visits. It worked less well on this - there was one spot in particular where it was very subtly starting to tone down the yellow, but the rest looked the same. Major con: After using this product two or three times, I’m throwing it out. While my hair doesn’t necessarily feel dry or damaged, I was shocked to look in the mirror and see that my hair is suddenly breaking off very short in some places. This product has been the only new one I introduced, so it’s getting the boot. Not worth it.

It turns my hair purple and I don’t leave it in for more than a couple minutes.

This is just shampoo, please stop marketing as toner. I left it in for 15min on my level 9 highlights. No change at all

I have tried a lot of purple shampoos and have had no results leaving me with dried out hair. This shampoo gives your results without damaging!

Really tones blonde and silver hair, and leaves your hair shiny, soft and manageable

I loved this product. It’s worth a try if you’re looking for a new purple shampoo or a toner that actually works. I’ve tried many products and the results for this last at least a week between shampoos. I’m using it remove brass from my platinum/graying hair. As a heads up though, I recommend sectioning hair when you shampoo to make sure you don’t miss any spots. It’s very noticeable when you miss a spot. This will also stain purple when you leave it on too long!

First time using an at home toner and I loved it! My hair is professionally highlighted but I didn’t like the gold tones. The Silver toner removed the golden hues. And, so easy! Just like washing your hair!

Hey, here's something different! I paid for the product myself instead of being bribed to write a review! I saw this at Target and thought I'd give it a try. There are some things I like about it: It smells nice, it lathers well (once I got enough of it on my head), and in combination with the gloss, my hair was really easy to comb through when I got out of the shower. It made my hair soft and fluffy after blow-drying. There are also things I don't like about it: I saw no noticeable color change. I have elbow-length hair, and I had to use about half the bottle to work up a functional lather. Same deal with the gloss--I used at least half the tiny bottle to get the amount I needed for all of my hair. Pressing the pump once dispenses a tiny droplet; I had to pump it twenty times to get a quarter-size dollop. I will not buy either this toner or the gloss again unless the bottle size triples and the price stays the same. The pump could also use a serious upgrade. Ounce for ounce, this is one of the most expensive hair products I've ever used. Good but needs improvement.

Really like this- you shampoo it in. It’s bond-building so when you rinse it out your hair doesn’t feel stripped. It has a scent but it’s very mild. I had an allergic reaction to a different brand’s silver shampoo and conditioner so I’m glad they kept the scent low and have better ingredients in this product. I’m a silvering blonde growing out blonde hair dye, and this really toned down the yellow in the ends of my hair (the faded blonde dye). As a side note, it doesn’t stain hands. Would repurchase and recommend.

Left hair feeling soft and manageable. It is not a permanent color change, will fade when using regular shampoo. Wash my hair evey other day, so refresh the color about every 4th shampoo by using Brite.
